Review: FECO here we come! - I'm so excited - this thing works perfect! I've been wanting to do this for a long time, and it will pay for itself in no time with the amount of alcohol recovered. Making some excellent CBD FECO for my edibles. I've only used it a couple times so far, but it is as easy as can be, hopefully the longevity is there also. Some of the google/youtube instructions seem so complicated, it really isn't.
Review: Great Service on an even better product - possibilities for use are endless - This unit has in the short time I've had it become a staple of my kitchen and I don't know what I would do without it. Unit has withstood being dropped and functions well. I don't recommend this certainly, and it is best not to try to lift it while full by the sides. Regarding customer service: My dumb a** couldn't figure out how to get the spout on at first, and contacted them, then promptly figured it out. They contacted me quickly regarding that. Then I thought the whole unit had broken (I used it so much I must have tripped my breaker running the sous vide at the same time, not a defect in the unit) and contacted them in a fugue, because in the few days I have had this unit I have come to love it, and then again promptly discovered the problem. The responded again, even though I had not taken the time to respond to their first post. I figured after putting them through that they deserved a good review.

**Q: After soaking plant material in 190 proof, can this unit be used for alcohol recovery?**
A: Absolutely. That is why I got it.  Just don't let it go all the way down. Pour it into your cup for sitting on the coffee warmer while it still has enough solvent to pour easily. That way the essential oil doesn't stick to the inside of the distiller too much. You will recover at least half of your solvent.

**Q: Has anyone used this for making fuel? I know it’s not a big still, but for under $200 it give me something to experiment with.**
A: Yes. Many people have used it for making fuel

**Q: Can it be used for distilled water?**
A: No it cannot, I tried haha. Alcohol vaporizes at around 170-190 degrees Fahrenheit, water will vaporize at the point of boiling which Is about 212 degrees Fahrenheit. Hope this helps! P.S. do not run your brew through it the first round, it will waste your gallon of precious liquid. (Learned the hard way) After you let it cycle, it's golden!! :) also distill 2 times (add water to your spirit from first run) and get a cleaner taste.

**Q: Hey I just want to know is the ceramic chip come with it and the liquid to prevent the foam?**
A: HI There,Unfortunately the Airstill does not include these items. Not as efficient or effective and a water cooled still, but it pretty much runs unsupervised which is nice. A copper pot water cooled still requires constant attention regulating the temp of the heat source and making shure you have plenty of cool water and/or ice. This one is pretty much automatic however the final product is not as good. You can run a batch through the machine several times and it gets better with ever pass but thats a lot of extra work. If you want a still that works, is easy for a beginner, and produces an OK product then this is a bit expensive but worth it. I use it a "rough draft" to extract as much goodness from my mash as it is capable of, then make a second pass in a copper still. before this machine I used to run everything through the still twice anyway to improve potency and taste, now I use this machine and it makes the first pass more "automated" its nice having both if you can afford it, but this thing aint cheap so some of the stove top stills avaiable on Amazon are cheaper and make better product, but require a little more skill than this plug and play device. regardless of all that, it delivers on everything it promises and is a quality constructed sturdy device. mine runs for hours at a time sometimes and Its never had a problem so it definately gets 5 stars
