Review: Deep, smooth tone with some performance gains - I installed the Dynomax Super Turbo 17734 on my truck and couldn’t be happier. The sound is exactly what I was looking for—noticeably deeper than stock but not obnoxiously loud. It gives the vehicle a nice rumble at idle and a strong tone under acceleration without any harsh drone at cruising speeds. Performance-wise, I did notice slightly better throttle response, especially at mid-range. The quality of the muffler is excellent—solid construction and clean welds, and the aluminized steel looks like it’ll hold up for a long time. Installation was straightforward, and it fit into the existing exhaust setup with minimal modification. Overall, it’s a great choice for anyone who wants a solid upgrade in sound and flow without breaking the bank. Highly recommend for daily drivers and enthusiasts alike! Review: Great sounding exhaust.... - I was looking for a grumbly, but not annoying, exhaust to put on my '71 GMC c15 with a 383 stroker. I gave these Dynomax super turbos a shot and they sound awesome. ## Features - COMPATIBILITY – Universal fit, check product dimensions - GET THE RIGHT PART -- Before purchasing, research to ensure that the part will fit your vehicle; enter all vehicle information (year, make, model, engine and trim) for compatibility and check qualifier notes - Large internal flow tubes improve exhaust flow and reduce backpressure - Exclusive patented flow director design channels exhaust flow and eliminates turbulence on most applications - Fiberglass matting technology to absorb unwanted interior resonance while maintaining a mellow performance tone - Dyno proven to flow up to 700 SCFM ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00029J3CA | | Automotive Fit Type | Vehicle Specific Fit | | Best Sellers Rank | #313,039 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #94 in Automotive Performance Exhaust Mufflers #6,495 in Automotive Emission & Exhaust Products | | Brand | Dynomax | | Brand Name | Dynomax | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | Car | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 148 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00086387177344 | | Included Components | Per Item Description | | Item Dimensions | 20.75 x 10.25 x 4.88 inches | | Item Weight | 0.27 g | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 20.75 x 10.25 x 4.88 inches | | Manufacturer | Tenneco (Dynomax, Walker, Thrush) | | Manufacturer Part Number | 17734 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | Limited Lifetime Warranty | | Material | Alloy Steel | | Material Type | Alloy Steel | | Model Number | 17734 | | Number of Items | 1 | | OEM Equivalent Part Number | 17734 | | Part Interchange Info | 17734 | | Shape | Oval | | UPC | 086387177344 | | Vehicle Service Type | Car | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Dynomax - **Item Weight:** 0.27 g - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 20.75 x 10.25 x 4.88 inches - **Material:** Alloy Steel - **Vehicle Service Type:** Car ## Images ![17734 Exhaust Muffler - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61JcTIHj3hL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can this fit in a 1996 v6 mustang? do they produce a drone at highway speeds or at 2000 rpm? i currently have a 2.5 inch catback with flowmaster 40s.** A: Yes and Yes not bad as flow master helps with gas mileage **Q: Will this fit my 99 dodge 1500 4X4** A: Why not if it fits **Q: Inlet oulet 2.5?** A: Thank you for your inquiry.
