This product was just what I needed. Easy to install and works fantastic.

Great replacement hose and easy to connect.
Works perfect for my second hand AC unit. I was worried about compatability but no issues. Did use some gorilla tape to secure the bracket of the ac unit to the tube.

NOT for slide by side sliding windows
Despite the description, this is not an ideal solution for side by side sliding windows. As you can see in the pictures, it's not wide enough to fit inside the window and still have proper access to the vent hole. If you try and position it so the vent hole is accessible, you leave a lot of gap on both sides. If you have a regular double hung window, it should work fine, and if your window or door doesn't have such a big gap on the side where the window or door closes it should work. I do like the way the pieces fit together and how you can easily adjust the size. It just wouldn't work for my application, and I wouldn't recommend it for side by side sliding windows.

It's a piece of junk
It's a piece of junk. I bought this to replace a vent kit for a Hisense portable AC. The plastic on my original set broke. I purchased this one and the vent that exits the window is a different size (it's smaller). No big deal. The problem I have is the vent does not click into the plastic hole. It does fit tabs through, but it does not click to stay in, so it keeps coming out. No instructions. Second, on my original kit, the window pieces that fill in the open window gap had ledges that would fit over the bottom of the window frame and catch the bottom of the sliding window when closed. It held in there. This one is just flat. No ridge. No stability. If you move the AC or anything, the whole thing comes out of the window. Super frustrating.
