I also read about what I can do to prevent flare ups of psoriasis and lots of it was to nurish your scalp, so I tried to find things with vitamins or minerals but the only one that seemed true and was under 100bucks was this. I thought hey at this price why not try. Best life changer yet! I know this product isn't specifically for psoriasis but it honestly had actually helped me! My scalp clears up with this! Smell: I kinda like it. Especially for being a guy I feel it even accents my Cologne subtley. I would think it would work the same for women and men of all ages. It is almost like that nice smell plain candles have or like plain Chapstick. Texture: It is almost somewhere between a wax in the manner of clinging to you but almost it gooey like a thick honey. Kinda hard to explain. It is far from liquid but still is not firm like other hair styling products. Use: I saw people said it gave a greasy look. I personally hate that crunchy look so I am by far happy with this! That being said to not have the shiny or " greasy" look but have your hair be highly sculpted I do not know that this could do it. I do not claim to be an expert on pomades but in addition to Nature's Blessing I have used Murray's, Royal Crown Pomade, and Badger and while I like aspects of each of these pomades, they don't compare to Nature's Blessing. The hold - I'll start straight away by saying that it works... really well. I have straight medium fine hair and tend to wear it on the shorter side. if my hair had its way, it would lay forward, but I prefer it slicked back. This pomade makes that challenge a reality with very little work. It doesn't feel waxy or sticky like some pomades or stain your pillowcase like others. It doesn't harden or flake. You can apply it in the morning and the hold will last all day. You can even comb through it for restyling after some rogue winds. The scent - This stuff smells clean. It may be a bit more on the masculine side of the spectrum, but it could be unisex too. It reminds me of soap to be honest... Irish Spring soap. Some have described it as minty, but that is not exactly what I get. Mint is as much a part of the profile as rosemary or sage... it is in there, but the take away is fresh, clean, soap. The most important aspect of the scent is that my lady likes it. The shine - This pomade has a good shine to it.
