Review: Beautiful, heavier cardstock, gold trimmed - I purchased baby shower invitations from an online site. To upgrade from the included white paper envelopes to pink paper envelopes, the buyer would have charged me an additional $40 dollars. I shot over to desertcart, found these instead, and couldn't be happier with my purchase. I purchased the pink. It's a pale but pretty pink. It looks a bit brighter than it does appear in the photo, but I prefer that. These are a heavier envelope. They feel more like cardstock and it gives them more of an elegant appearance. They look and feel high quality, and brought a sophistication to my invitations. They also have an adhesive lining, that's easy to peel, and made mailing 50 invitations a breeze (also I didn't have to lick 50 envelopes, which is always a plus). The guests that have received the invites so far have said that the invite and envelope are both very elegant. I was a little concerned when others stated because of the weight of the envelopes, they may cost more than a standard stamp to ship. But the post office weighed the envelope with the card inside and found that it weighed the right amount for normal postage. I will absolutely order these envelopes again for any event I need to plan!
