Woolnut MacBook Pro 15 (2016-2019) Sleeve - Black

Let me preface this by saying that I seldom write reviews. However, this product is very deserving of one. Let me quickly go over why I gave it the stars I did in each category.Style: 4 Stars, because for me, I love the design, however the have their logo imprinted at the bottom on one side of the case, as well as a large tag sown inside the slip seemed a bit much for my tastes. While the logo on the outside is hardly noticeable, I would have preferred just the internal one, and a clean surface on both sides of the sleeve for the exterior.Value: 4 Stars here, because let's be honest, it's a laptop sleeve, and its not a hardshell case. That said, this is real leather and wool, hand stitched, so if you are looking for genuine materials, and good quality for a leather sleeve, this is top notch, but bear in mind it comes with a significant price tag.Sturdiness: 5 Stars for this one. As mentioned above, this is real leather, very soft yet quite thick. The interior is real wool, which at first had me very concerned that it would scratch the finish on my MBP, that said I have been using this product for several months now and I could not feel better about it being in this sleeve. For general storage in a backpack, on a desk, travel, etc, this product has far and away exceeded my expectations and my hopes.Overall rating: 5 Stars from me. I spent a few hours scouring online for good quality, clean looking, and durable leather sleeves for my MBP, and trying like hell to avoid spending the outrageous price for the Apple branded one. Then I find this. Still quite pricey, and I was very unsure of the wool lining and if it would scratch the material of my MBP, however everything I read said it was not a concern. I decided to buy it and try it out, and I have since fallen in love with this sleeve. It goes everywhere with me, just like my laptop, and there's not a time where it doesn't get used. When my laptop is in use, I sit my laptop on it to act as a padded surface, and when the I'm stressing the laptop with my workload and the fans need better ventilation, this sleeve doubles as a mousepad for me as well. So far after several months of ownership and frequent, near daily use, this shows no signs of wear whatsoever. I can't stress enough the importance of this product for me, and I am so very pleased with the craftsmanship of it. If you are looking for a well made leather sleeve made of genuine high quality materials with a clean and elegant design that offers solid protection for you device, do yourself a favor and get this.

Overall this is an excellent case.The leather is a great shade perhaps slightly lighted than advertised online. I prefer this lighter shade so this was a pleasant surprise. The interior is soft supple and protective.The best thing about this case is its vertical design allows for charging while the laptop is snug inside the sleeve.I do believe it to be slightly pricy, but this is the best price/quality product I found throughout several weeks of research.

This thing is nice, plain and simple. People gasp at what I paid, but it’s chic and protecting a $4k laptop, so. Find something else that feels nice, fits snug and still protects on small drops. Go on, look. I did and didn’t come up with much after watching all the videos and searching far and low. This is simple, elegant and functional. My laptop essentially lives in this thing while I’m not using it and it’s saved from a couple slips off the bed and other stuff hitting it in the car where is was scared to look after. I’m completely happy with my purchase, which is rare now days.

This item was recommended by a relative who had ordered one and been very pleased. I ordered this last month and was very pleased with the workmanship and appearance. Functionally it works great providing some excellent padded protection to my MacBook Air. Yesterday I discovered an unexpected benefit when I put the sleeve, with my MacBook too close to a cooler that leaked as the contained ice was melting. As can be seen by the pictures the closed end of the sleeve was in contact with the water. Fortunately I discovered the problem in time, but the sleeve managed to soak up most of the water. While some moisture did get through (and would have made it through the sleeve since it is not intended to provide water protection) it did provide enough protection, soaking up much of the moisture, that the MacBook did not sustain water damage. Unfortunately (as seen by the pictures) the sleeve is stained and sadly it has lost some of it's beautiful appearance, but I am sold on how well this has protected my MacBook Air. Hopefully the manufacturer can suggest a way to restore the uniform finish to the sleeve!

A bit disappointed and feel like I wasted my money. Doesn't look premium. The leather feels almost exactly like the bonded leather you might get from a craft store. The side edge came in a little damaged from its own packaging because it's so thin. At a cheaper price, this would be fine but at $88 I expected more or at least a better imitation.The macbook fits in it snuggly yet not too tightly. The lining adds an extra cushion layer. It's just $30-$40 overpriced.

Should be better quality leather for the money.

I started off with a hard case. That lasted a couple of days before I returned it. I liked the Apple leather sleeve but it was quite pricey. A little more research and I discovered the Woolnut sleeve. It's quite similar to the Apple sleeve but half the price. It also opens on one of the short sides as opposed to Apple's configuration. This makes it easier for me to access my laptop while still in my carry bag and allows charging without removing it from the sleeve.As others have pointed out, it is very tight when you receive it but after about a week of use the leather stretches out and it's much easier to slide the laptop in and out. I hastened the process by inserting a book of just the right size into the sleeve and putting both in the sun for an hour or so. It warmed up the leather and accelerated the stretching process. Now it's perfect!

I bought the "Woolnut Macbook Air 13 (Old) Sleeve" version, which is supposed to be "Designed for: MacBook Air 13-inch (late-2008 to 2017 models).". However, it is too small, and it is very hard to put it in or remove the laptop.

Ayant été satisfait globalement de mon 1er achat chez eux, c'est naturellement que je leur refais confiance pour mon nouveau Macbook Pro 16.Toujours dans un soucis d'élégance je me tourne vers le cuir couleur havane, qui matchera mes autres iDevices et surtout qui se marie avec pleins de choses du quotidien !Le cuir est toujours aussi beau, la couleur conforme au descriptif. Toujours cette odeur +/- agréable aussi par contre, a chacun son avis la dessus ! Aux premiers usages, la pochette a pris une légère marque dans une sacoche en allant bosser alors même que la pochette était dans un emplacement rembourré, je ne me l'explique pas.Mais au global, c'est toujours de la qualité et un réel plaisir a la manipulation ! Un vrai produit de qualité et beau a la fois, pour matcher les produits Apple qu'il protège. La feutrine intérieure est douce et pratique, aucune rayure ni micro-rayure grâce a elle.Je laisse 5 étoiles a cette pochette car c'est un super produit a un prix relativement convenable pour cette gamme. Bought it for my MBA 15 2023. Fits like a glove. Great purchase!

utilizzato per il mio Lenovo X1 Extreme Gen2 ed è perfetto, visto che le dimensioni sono all'incirca le stesse del MacBook Pro 16". All'inizio leggermente stretto per via dei piedini in gomma più alti di quelli del Mac ma dopo qualche giorno di utilizzo ha preso la forma corretta.Una delle poche custodie sul mercato veramente belle ed eleganti e che non aggiunge spessore al pc.Qualche dubbio sulla reale protezione della macchina in caso di caduta. La presa è comunque ottima e la pelle non è scivolosa.

En mi caso tengo una MacBook Pro de 15'' 2019 que quería proteger tanto dentro de mi mochila como cuando voy a una junta dentro del corporativo en el que trabajo. Después de leer muchos reviews y decidir que la original de cuero de Apple no valía la pena por su costo. Decidí comprar esta funda de Woolnut, la cual me gustó mucho, incluso más que en las fotografrías.La funda se siente muy bien al tacto, se ve como una funda sofisticada y creo que añade la protección que yo requiero para mi MacBook. Sin duda la recomiendo, si ya gastaron una cantidad importante en una herramienta, no está de más gastar un poco más para protegerla y que no se vea mal.
