Not Spanish, but drinkable cheap lager
For the person saying they don't like Carling and this is Carling for hipsters. At best I think they're thinking of Madri. Madri is a brand invented by Molson Coors to sound Spanish, it's not sold in Spain but the UK and Canada. Apparently it's brewed to the older Carling recipe, as Carling was changed - lower ABV etc. Both Molson Coors brands. Cruzcampo is a real Spanish beer, at least, it's sold in Spain. But what you're buying here is brewed in Edinburgh, Scotland. It's a Heineken brand. The draught stuff on launch was brewed in Manchester. It's very cheaply made. When a beer contains ingredients like glucose syrup and hop extract, you know it's brewed to a strict cost. Glucose syrup is used as so little barley is actually used, there isn't enough sugar to ferment and produce enough alcohol. Cruzcampo currently £10 for 10 with the vouchers. For that money it's absolutely fine. And that's its purpose, it was launched with the cost of living in mind. So don't pay the higher prices on offer thinking you're buying a premium product. A quid a can is fine. As for taste, it's been brewed with "UK audience in mine with input from our Spanish team". Meaning there's very little flavour, there's no strong malt flavour which the masses don't like, it's hoppy (with the extract) and sweet, I've had similar tasting shandies. When it's cold, it'll hit the spot. If you like it and the offer for a tenner a pack is on, buy it. If you've come across this thinking it's the Spanish lager you know, it is not.

Dodgy fittings
One bolt crossed threaded and the front fork needed to be hammered in
