I have a 1&1/2 inch curler already but wanted a curling iron that would give me tighter curls so this 1 inch was perfect. Easy to turn on and adjust the heat on the digital display and I love that there are different heat levels to choose from especially because me and my daughters have different hair textures so it’ll work for all of us at different temps. Curling iron is light weight and easy to hold. I love the length of the iron because I can curl so much of my hair at once and the curls come out smooth and beautiful. The cord is super long and doesn’t get twisted up while curling. The heat is precise and fairly fast, about a minute. Your hair does not get stuck under the hinge of the clamp and it curls all the way down even the ends of the hair that get under the hinge when doing spiral curls. The hair slides smoothly across the barrel. I am a professional hairdresser of 37 years and I don’t know that this would last as long as a professional iron but it is certainly nice for home use.
