Worked perfect with my machine

I don’t love these because they don’t last very long, but you’d say the same thing about the original lines that came with the mulcher. Would love it if the mulcher accommodated a sturdier line, but i guess there’s a reason why you can only use lines that need to be replaced after just a day of moderate use.

This machine is great for dry leaves and small dry garden debris. Green leaves are tougher for it to shred. Wet leaves don't do very well at all. Dry garden debris goes through fairly well if it is light and thin. Heavier stuff or green stringy stuff gets balled up around the edges. It also wears down the strings faster. Pushing it to do things like green cabbage leaves, well, not so great. But it's great for dry leaves and pine needles. It does throw out some dust from the top, however.

Work well as replacements

These pre cut strings work great for the machine we have to mulch our big leaf maple leaves. Easy to install.

Excellent replacement lines! Very easy to install!

This line doesn't last long at all. It breaks down even faster in cold temperatures. I purchased the Worx leaf mulcher to chop hay for a senior alpaca. The mulcher works great with different line. Oregon 22-995 Magnum Gatorline Square Trimmer Line .095-Inch works so much better in the mulcher and lasts much longer. It took 3-5 sets of this line per bale and only 1 set per 1 1/2 bales of hay with the Oregon line.

They work like the cutting lines on a weed eater. So much safer than actual metal blades. They work well but do have to be replaced from time to time as they wear down. Always need to have some in reserve.
