Colonial Needle Foam ThimblePads-1

Brilliant product. I tried the plastic version but the needle just slid off. This leather circle sticks firmly on your finger. The needle doesn't slip off and makes sewing so much easier. For anyone who hand sews regularly and for long periods this is a brilliant alternative to a thimble. It doesn't get in the way and stays secure, can't recommend this thimble pad highly enough. It's worth the money and ends that painful hole in your finger. Small update - yes you really can stick, remove and restick several times and it still stays secure.

These are a game changer for hand sewing. You can place them exactly where needed on your finger. I have small fingers and finding a comfortable thimble has been impossible. They feel a bit weird to begin with but persevere . They are effective and reusable so remember to hold on to the packaging.

Great product, easy to use, comfortable and dies the job well. I'm still using the first one, I've taken it off, stuck it to my scissors and put it back on numerous times and it still sticks and stays in place, although I've had some issues with adhesive residue left on my finger but easy enough to remove & perhaps a sign I should be switched to a new one by now.

These little thimble pads are great. You have to experiment a little with exactly where to place them but once in the right place they offer good protection form sore fingers. I used them as I had a lot of hand sewing when joining hexagon sections together for a quilt. They are nice and thick and stay sticky so can be reused a number of times.

Love these, best thing ever, work a treat & can be used multiple times, highly recommend, really good product. Much better than a thimble, easy to apply/remove & to work with

I like these but some stay on and some dont. Once removed u cant use again cos they dont stick. You would have to find something to stick them back with.

These are perfect. I have tried several other brands and they were hopeless. These stay on even when you wash your hands! I can no longer wear the sterling silver thimble my husband bought for me in 1971 due to arthritis deforming my finger. These work a treat. These are removable and replaceable. I would recommend these every time, I will be getting some more to keep in my workbox.

Absolutely fabulous little items!! I cannot rate it highly enough. I do a lot of English paper piecing and these little leather dots are so much more comfortable and easier to use than a thimble (and I've tried several over the years!). I have ordered the Thimble Pack Plus so I can try all the other variations. Which I am sure will be a great addition to my sewing box. I wouldn't be without them now.

This one isn't for me. I have no complaints about the quality. It's thick and can be used multiple times before the adhesive runs out. (I have less oily skin than average though. So, that's probably a factor.) It does what it's supposed to do. I just can't get used to having something that thick on my finger. It bothers me the whole time, and completely throws me off. (It's like I don't know what to do with my hands anymore.) That said, I'm very sensitive to a lot of things (socks for example). So, it's not at all a fault of the product. I keep it around just in case I have something really thick to sew through, but I couldn't wear this for a whole embroidery project.
