Love this sweeper vac!
This is a must if you have artificial turf! I seldom write reviews but I LOVE this turf sweeper! We've had our artificial turf for about 7 years & I had tried many different turf vacuums & they either didn't work or would also vacuum up the sand that's put into the turf & is meant to stay. I finally gave up & was using our large shop-vac, often on my hands and knees, to get up all the pine needles, palm seeds, leaves, etc that constantly ended up on my lawn. I loved my grass but it was a lot of work when I'd do the serious cleaning I felt was needed for the attractive & natural look I like. Then a couple of months ago I noticed a new neighbor using this vac on her turf so asked her how it was working & what it was. She raved about it & sent us the link so my husband immediately ordered it and I'm in love! Wish I'd had it years ago! No batteries to have to worry about keeping a charge. An extension cord is needed and does get in the way but definitely worth any inconvenience that may cause as it has the power to not only pick up the leaves, but also pine needles & berries from our ficus tree yet still leave the sand. And if that's not enough, it also brushes the grass back up so in well-worn areas where it was starting to lay flat, it is being brought back to a new appearance. I thought I was going to have to rent a roller-brush specifically for refreshing the grass but now as I clean my lawn I'm also bringing it back to life! Easy to use as it's made for single hand pushing & it wants to move forward so the main effort is holding it back to slow down. Low noise, fairly lightweight for what it is, especially when compared to a lawn mower. Can't say enough good about it! If you have artificial turf, you want this sweeper vac!

perfectly green grass year-round!
I had been considering this turf cleaner for over a year and finally purchased it—and I should have bought it sooner. This machine is quite powerful -it pulls you along and picks up all debris. It picks up leaves, debris, fluffs the turf, and leaves it looking like new. 10/10, I would absolutely buy this again. It is electric and plug-in, which makes it easy to clean the entire yard without any issues. I have had zero problems with this machine.

If you live in the USA, do not buy this item
If you live in the USA, do not buy this item. The company that manufactures it has the worst customer service. I bought the item on February 11, and due to personal reasons I was not able to use it for the first time until after a month. The first time I used it, it broke. I tried to check Amazon’s warranty, but since it had been more than a month, it was no longer valid. So I have been trying to contact the manufacturer to buy the broken part and avoid losing all the money I spent on the item, and they have never responded. I have called hundreds of times, sent emails from my email address, and also left messages in the contact form on their website asking them to reach out to me, and I have not received any response at all.

Artificial turf sweeper.
This product was a good investment for cleaning my artificial turf. Picked up 90% of palm tree seeds, rabbit droppings and other debris on the first pass. Durable tool and very useful. User friendly. Excellent product and would buy again.

Compact, lightweight, sweeps clean, but trigger needs improvement
I had 600sf of turf installed in my backyard this Spring. Face Weight: 55oz. Pile Height: 1.55". I bought this sweeper because I wanted something lightweight that I could easily store in my backyard deck box. It's quite compact and I can easily lift it in and out of my deck box with one arm. I'm glad I didn't buy one of the sweepers that you push with two hands. Too big and overkill for my little 600sf. This one-handed style sweeper gets the job done. In action, it feels a lot like a vacuum cleaner--you know, the kind you use indoors on your carpets. I find it just as easy to use right-handed as left-handed but with one caveat. The on-off trigger has a too-heavy spring so that it's fatiguing to keep it squeezed as you vacuum. (I'm a big guy with strong hands - I do strength training at a gym and my hands can handle plenty of reps with plenty of weight.) The solution is that I've wrapped a bit of Velcro "One-Wrap" around the handle and I use that to help keep the trigger activated while I'm sweeping. I'm a tinkerer so maybe one of these days I'll disassemble the handle and either replace the spring with a lighter one or, if it's a coil spring in there, then I'll just snip off a coil or two. After all, this is not a chainsaw or a lawnmower, you really don't need this kind of trigger. A simple on/off switch would be fine--like what you have on an indoor vacuum cleaner. As for sweeping effectiveness, it does most of its sweeping on the pull stroke but it's pretty good on the push stroke too. It works well on small leaves, twigs, pebbles, and whatnot. To keep the cord from disconnecting I use one of those cord keeper things [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001F7NWO8] and that takes care of that. You'll still need a turf rake of some sort to clean the edges before you sweep. I bought a $20 rake from Mr. Siga [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08HN63XK9] and it works fine for my kind of turf. Also stores easily in my deck box.

Glad I bought this!
This machine does exactly what it says it does! Our artificial turf has never looked better. We have two dogs and it picks up the hair right along with the leaves and debris that can gather on the turf. Easy to use. Great product for the money.

Good for small areas of turf.
Works well but not on the edges, it will grab rocks if you have them on the boarder and it won't get the inch and a half near a wall. The instructions are vague, but you can figure it out. Mostly safety instructions. The price is good, but I think I would prefer a battery powered model, the extension cord is a hassle. Small yards only.

Did a good job of restoring trampled down artificial lawn. Much better than lawn brooms
We have had 2 backyard weddings at our home. For both weddings the beverages were in areas that drew guests to create wear a path on the artificial grass. I rented a gas powered lawn broom with limited success. I have used a rake and push broom to push the bent over plastic grass back up also with limited success. We were considering replacing about 1,000 sq. ft. of grass when I thought I'd give this device a try. I am very pleasantly surprised as to its effect but had to figure things out for myself. The instructions are very detailed in the safe use but worthless for telling you how to make your sweeper work as you want. Here is my experience; 1. If the grass is matted down it may take more than one pass and not too quickly . Pulling up the grass is not like using a vacuum cleaner. 2. Look at the grass blades and how they are lying. If the tips are pointed at you then you will push the blades down instead of pulling them up. The GRASS TIPS SHOULD BE POINTED AWAY FROM YOU. 3. Don't pull the sweeper while the brush is activated. You can mess up your grass and the sweeper. 4. Don't hold the sweeper in one place with the brush working. It can mess up your grass. Keep it moving. 5. Adjust the height with the lever on the left front wheel. Lower is for pulling the grass up and restoring the look of fresh lawn. Higher is for sweeping. It will sweep on a low setting but may also shred leaves making a mess. On a high setting the results for restoring the lawn are minimal. 6. The grass may start to lay down after a couple of days but it comes back up pretty easily the next time the sweeper is used. Once I get it stable and looking the way I want, I'll work some sand into the lawn which is how the installers got the grass to stand up when it was put in 8 years ago. AS FOR LONGEVITY, WHO KNOWS? I have had it less than a week.

Efficace!
Assemblage facile (le manche, c’est tout). Machine très efficace. Après avoir ramassé les poils de chien, les passages subséquents délogent les résidus incrustés. Mon seul regret est de ne pas avoir découvert cet appareil avant!

Great purchase
My 45’ x 15’ turf and needed a post winter clean and refresh. The sweeper brought the turf right back. It lifted the pile, removed all the debris, and a double pass made it look new. I couldn’t find many sweepers for turf out there but Garland really nailed it.

Not worth the money.
I found the machine to be heavy and cumbersome. It was difficult to assemble with the handle, for instance, not mating with the connector rod. I had to trim the connector. Sweeping was not good. The assembly tools were substandard. Don’t understand why the vendor would not provide decent Robertson screws and appropriate driver on a premium priced machine. Regrettably I returned the machine as I look for other sweepers for an artificial turf.
