This is the savior for my sensitive greasy scalp. My scalp turned really greasy and sensitive a few years ago entering middle age, and I also have a history of seborrheic dermatitis my whole life. A lot of shampoos that I tried caused sore red bumps after just a couple of uses. Even though I have been avoiding shampoos containing SLS and silicone, it seems that there are more unidentified ingredients to which my scalp is sensitive. I have spent a fortune trying various shampoos, but everything either caused red bumps or is useless in taming the greasiness. Those clarifying shampoos not only did not prevent greasiness but also often led to a smelly scalp. I have been using the Everist shampoo for about a month and I couldn’t believe how well it works for me. I can now shampoo every other day instead of everyday!!! And my scalp does not smell horrible on the second day. Also, I have not got any red bumps from it. Yes, it is not cheap as a tube doesn’t really last long even for my chin-length hair. For me the cost is really nothing compared to the amount of money that was wasted on numerous shampoos that I tried and tossed after just a few uses. Yes, it is difficult to dispense and lather up. With this shampoo I must wash twice to feel clean, and even during the second wash there is not much lather. It is also true that the paste can easily slip off your wet palm onto the floor before you get the chance to properly lather it. However, I have not found any other shampoo that can provide the same results for my problematic scalp. The only thing that it doesn’t help is to reduce the excessive shedding of hair, but I doubt that any shampoo can really do that. Therefore, I am only grateful that I have found my holy grail and hope that this shampoo will never be discontinued.

Never tried this product before so took a chance and bought it, I felt a bit more confident once after I tracked down one YouTube channel covering this product. Out of curiosity I decided to have a sticky note in my bedroom and recorded each time I showered and used a bit of this product in my hair. I just didn't trust the claim it lasted 50 washes and I was correct. To make it more of an even playing field, I decided to make each application 1 inch (see photos). At the end of my testing, I got 36 uses from this shampoo. My hair length is a medium bob cut roughly hair length to my clavicle/collarbone ..so your usage might vary. On the experience of this product I much prefer it over a shampoo bar, I'm not encountering that greasy build-up that I tend to got with a shampoo bar no matter how long I seemed to rinse the product out. If you never dappled in a non plastic packaged shampoo before I believe this product handles the transition well. You get that silky smooth feel from the formula, the only learning experience is learning how to mix the formula with water. How I approached it is I squirted the 1 inch morsel onto my thumb, then wiped the shampoo in the middle of the palm of my hand. Cupped both my hands under the running shower, and began to mix it with my hands finally applied it to my hair. Do note this product has less bubble-making then traditional shampoos. The scent is hard for me to describe.... some days I made a note on my sticky note it reminded me of citrus, specifically grape fruit. It wasn't too overbearing in the scent sector though. I'd love it if they added a slight mango scent in the future. Gave this 4 stars because when I ordered this product they didn't have an option to not include the metal key, wish there was a drop down menu that said "Everist : The Shampoo Concentrate + KEY" and "Everist : The Shampoo Concentrate" . Give the consumers the option if they want the metal key. I would recommend it if your a first time user but if you decide to keep buying, then I hope they'll give consumers that option. Would I buy this again? Yes. I have found a Zero Waste re-fillery store near me and will use that more for my shampoo needs however if I'm ever going on a trip out of town or know of someone wanting to be more eco, I'd recommend/gift them this product.

You really need to use quite a bit two pumps or squirts or turn of the key it comes with just to barely get enough lather, I was more conservative on the conditioner and yet then my hair was very difficult to comb after shower. My hair is mid back length, fine but lots of it. I do not feel like it is as clean as with other products as I was concerned about using so much. Have not styled yet to see how it works out. I love the smell overall I would not purchase again for the price vs what you will get. It would only last a few weeks at this rate if that. Was really hoping to love this, versus the video seller shows a small amount in the palm with a bit of water and voila lots of lather and suds. Not the case.

Exactly as advertised. Love it! Makes my hair shiny and soft and feel really clean. I’ll be buying this shampoo from now on!

I live rurally and am on well water. This product still works well. Due to high iron concentration in the water I need to use a bit more than what they suggest but not that much more.

I love this shampoo. It's fantastic. I highly recommend it. But I don't know if I will order it through Amazon again because it arrived with a finger swoop in it. Someone literally stuck their finger in it. Would never have this problem ordering directly from Everist which is a very high quality Canadian company, but I wanted the Prime free shipping.

My favourite shampoo of all time! Have been using this, along with the Everist deep conditioning concentrate for years now and it’s given me the best hair I’ve ever had! Easy to travel with, great lather, love the fresh scent - will never go back to another drugstore shampoo after this!
