Review: Saved hundreds - The stairlift packed up many moons ago, and the repair costs ran in to the hundreds (one quoted over £3000), which for us both well past 60 was a no go. Mrs got to the stage she started sleeping downstairs. We finally decided to have a go ourselves, and after a few hours we finally got the cover off, and there was these 2 batteries, which I tested and both were dead. Ordered these 2 replacement batteries which were the same make and model, and when they came we installed them and the stairlift worked straight away. Product lists one size and a customer lists another size.** A: Go with the listing dimensions. Mine (two) are enclosed inside a tennis ball machine so I can’t easily check it, but they fit perfectly within tight parameters according to sellers listing. **Q: Is this battery comparable to genesis np7-12fr=12 volt battery?** A: It is kind of the same but the most important difference is the FR part...which stands for flame retardant so if you need that or if it calls for that I would stay with that. **Q: What’s the battery life?** A: Depends on useage and charging schedule but I replaced mine after two years. **Q: what is the build date of this batteries?** A: I bought these a couple years ago so the build date is irrelevant to you today.
