Although very light the guards obviously make the drone weigh more than 250g which means you need to register the drone with the Civil Aviation Authority in the UK and take the test to obtain a Flyer ID. So far I have only one complaint with the guards and that is I found it very difficult to secure the clips over the two front arms of the drone. It takes me a few minutes and sore fingertips pushing hard to eventually get the clips secured. Looking at the tabs that slot in the hinged clip they look slightly out of alignment which I think is causing the problem. But apart from that a wortwhile investment if flying where the drone is likely to bump into something that the object avoidance sensors don't see.
