No the handles are not removable on this mold. There are pins holding it in place not screws.

Will it make 20 gauge slugs

This mold is for 12 gauge only, you can possibly buy one for 20 gauge slugs, but not sure of the weight.

Work perfect with wheel weight. First; remove storage oil with brake cleaner, 2; smoke it well, 3; open the flip cutter as soon as the overfull booger change from mirror to frosted color, 4; use a small whood stick to open the flip cover and tap the hinge bolt to make the slug fall, finally; first 4 or 5 will be bad until the mold is up to temp. Wheel weigh in cylinder bore only ( pure lead in full choke is OK ) have fun for cheap!
