A fantastic read, as always, the book had me hooked. Aside from Maze Runner and it's sequels, this was welcomed in so many ways. From this purchase I actually had several other people make an order for the same book and the Maze Runner Quadrilogy, which was only be a Trilogy originally. A great read for all ages, and a very good investment in literature. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bit of a slow start *by P***E on 23 May 2025* I really enjoyed the "Maze Runner" trilogy and keep coming back to Dashners books in the hope of capturing that first excitement. Sadly I have failed, and this book is no exception. I am not sure if it is because such a high bar was previously set, or if Dashners writing has gone a bit down hill. It is not a bad book, but it is just so slow. Quite a few characters and after a while I lost track of who some of them were. I got to the point where I lost interest in any of them.
