In other words, thirty both weighed the same. So although I cannot say whether or not they weigh exactly 45 lbs each, I can say that both of my plates weighed the same. To me I’d much rather have 2 plates 45 lbs plates that weight the same but might actually be 44 for one and 45 lbs for another. This way the weight on the bar is balanced. And at about $1/lbs, this is a great value in my view. I’m not competing, so I don’t care if they’re both a few ounces light or heavy. But for all I know, they’re dead-on. Some people complain about the smell or oil on them. This is common with this type of rubber material; I’ve had it on dumbbells as well.
