This coat was just what I wanted. It is lightweight, yet very warm with the down insulation. The cut is flattering and I love the dark color as I plan to wear it outside while camping. However, the coat is nice enough that I can also wear it when I dress up.

I originally purchased this coat elsewhere in another color but did not wear it because the material inside would peek out a little bit. This was a common complaint amount buyers of this coat. In the lighter color, I have not had this issue. I also went up a size to have extra arm room when wearing thick sweaters or sweatshirts in the winter. I am not sure why The North Face thinks all women have super skinny arms. The price was also very reasonable so that made this a great purchase. Versatile style means that I can wear this with a dressy or casual outfit.
