Product is easy to use and is high visibility. However, the first one was sent all taped up as the tube was mangled. Normally not a problem, but there are easy to loose small parts that need to be kept with the plastic tube. I ordered another and it came in a split open package and all of the contents of the tube missing! I put the product in the good tube and returned the empty bent/taped tube. We’ll see what happens.

I bought this set specifically to help run ethernet cables in my attic and trough walls for a POE camera. I had been struggling trying to get the cable up into my garage attic because I couldn't crawl to the corner edges myself. I ran across this product and I was able to get the whole job done in about 2 hours. It was great to run across different areas of the attic where the floors seperate, and then going down through the wall was easy. I love having the light on the end, it was plenty bright enough to find in a dark attic. The glowing rods were a nice touch too, but I wish the glow lasted longer. Maybe I should leave them in the light longer before using.

I ran this on the tightest places in the attic, helped me a lot. The tip light did not fully light up the poles, but just the light tip itself helped a lot. I wish they would invent a noise or beeping tip as well, would help finding in a messy attic.

Like others have noted the lighted end did not work, email with customer service solved the problem, with a new part arriving three days later. Otherwise this helped make quick work of adding Ethernet cables to my ceiling.

I was very disappointed in the quality of the light and found I had the same issues as others with the light not working. The rest of the product is great though. Upon further inspection I found that the wire under the batteries was covered in corrosion. A small screwdriver and an alcohol wipe later and it is finally working as it should. I think Klein should be inspecting these lights better while packaging or maybe separate the batteries from the light during packaging to keep them from corroding during storage. Either way, I fixed the light so I can do the job without issue now. If you buy this product, inspect the light before you need it to make sure you can clean the contacts if needed.

I've been using fish sticks throughout my career. They all eventually start to splinter, and I know these will as I push them. This kit is the best because you get six 5' rods for a lot less than the price of two sets. The LED light sounded like a gimmick until I was sending the stick into a ceiling and my helper could see it coming 25' away! The light is threaded on both ends, so you can put it behind your hook or eye, or even in the middle.
