On the remote the buttons are a little easy to press, I pressed then several times while remote was in pocket so I took it apart and put some heat shrink wrap around the entire button on circuit board but didn't shrink it down and just kept trimming it down until I got the right feel, now the buttons have the perfect resistance. Instructions say 5 amps recommended. Not sure what awesome awning is but it's fused for way more than 5 amps. Now my power grader is not connected with any wires and I can use any of my rechargeable M18s. This was easy to install, just 2 wires on the left for the battery and 2 at the M slots, in the middle.
