My hubby’s fav
These are my husband’s favorite socks and he refuses to wear anything else. They are thick, but not hot. Great at moisture-wicking, which he needs because he spends a lot of time outside. He gets the heather colored ones and they are pretty neutral and don’t feel ostentatious. My husband is 6ft and has a “husky” build, and the size XL fits his legs perfectly. They do come up probably a couple inches below his knee. He is super rough on socks and shoes, and these last him 9+ months before holes develop. He’s on his 3rd pack of these and still loves them just as much!

Perfect Everyday Socks — Hubby Loves Them!
My husband loves these socks! They’re the perfect thickness—not too thick and bulky, but not too thin either. They’re comfortable, fit well, and keep his feet dry throughout the day. Great quality for everyday wear, and the multipack is a great value. Definitely a 5-star purchase!

Great for Construction Workers
After trying what feels like every work sock on the market for my construction job, I can confidently say these are my favorite. They strike the perfect balance between comfort, durability, and breathability. One of the things I appreciate most is the length. They provide great coverage and help prevent my work boots from rubbing against my legs throughout the day. The moisture control is another huge benefit. I work long hours on my feet, and these do an excellent job keeping my feet cooler and drier. I’ve dealt with trench foot in the past from sweaty feet, so having socks that breathe well makes a noticeable difference. They’ve held up well with regular wear and washing, and they’ve become the only work socks I consistently reach for. If you spend long days in work boots and want a comfortable, breathable sock that performs well, I highly recommend these.

High quality melt on the foot
High quality in almost every way they’re visibly nice and thick they move well likely being able to go through most climates and they keep you warm. Buy they almost melt On your foot leaving a wool residue on your foot you have to pick off.

Excellent price on an honest to goodness good product
Socks should be comfortable and they should allow moisture wicking and dickies is the only brand I know that does both, I normally buy 2 each 6'packs of these every three or four years, after all your feet are one of the most important parts of your body and these are excellent and if you're like me size 11 1/2 I buy the 13 to 15 size because they stretch and they feel good and they're not loose on my feet , highly recommended

Perfect for a man who wears work boots all day!
The perfect socks for a blue collar man who stands on his feet all day (and night) long in a pair of work boots. Comfortable, durable, a good height (considering he’s a size 13 in shoes), and priced well!! Don’t know what’s up with the packaging.. The item arrived wrapped in a very thin and clear bag.. It wasn’t busted and they arrived in perfect condition though!

good, bulk socks
Pros: they are comfortable, they fit snuggly and dont "ride-down". The "foot" part of the sock, is roomy and feels nice against the flesh of my souls. Secret: they are nice to put on, if you warm them a little, and just took a nice shower. To the average person they would "do the job". I would give them a (A/A-, if I had to grade them, and if I didn't know better). If you need some socks that you know you will wear out in a few months, then buy this product. It does the job. They seem durable so far.... It is definitely a "meat-and-potato", "garden variety" sock. They are standard. They do not let you down....Plus, they are sold "in bulk", so you save there. (As an aside, I don't believe that Amazon sells smaller priced items, like 1 pair of socks.... I read somewhere that Amazon can only now sell larger, bulk style of small items)... Anyway, the Cons:The elastic part is too tight on the calf area. I wish that they were a little looser. The strong, elastic, calf part means that it can restrict bloodflow, so I try not to wear these at night. The next con, as is with all socks, they can "bunch-up when you insert your foot, or your toes at the wrong angle. The next con is a big one for me: It has a definite "plastic polyester" feel. Often people are not astute enough to compare sock textures, or they cannot do so, when they purchase these online... so they cannot perceive the polyester. but it feels kind of rubbery against your skin, when compared with all cotton. In my opinion the polyester in the sock feels like you mushed up greasy rubber bands in your sock. It is not nice. But, buyer beware...("Caveat Emptur", as they in Latin). that is your problem if you buy it, so read the label. Really, I only have myself to blame. I knew about this "polyester issue" with this sock brand, and as will most other socks, when I went into this transaction, because I needed socks and I had to compromise somewhere. So I guess that it is all my own silly fault, and not the company's. To those of you still reading: Here is my story: I am a strong advocate of cotton socks. I had always, and I still, to this day, continue to search for all-cotton socks. They used to sell these all of the time circa 1980-1990. Then suddenly, in the late 2010's - 2019's, I cannot find cotton socks. I search high-and-low, but alas, I cannot find them. I feel lost and helpless in a strange consumer land, as though I were trapped in a bizarre Dr. Seuss story that never ends, and one that I cannot get out of. It is so Kafka-esque. Here is my rant: I feel ripped-off. I really want cotton socks that aren't hiking socks. I want an athletic, tube sock, in black, that can pass as a work sock. I also want a nice weave and a good, durable quality type of cotton....I do not feel like this is such a ridiculous demand, since they do exist... I have bought different ones on-line and failed every time....Unfortunately, the all-cotton socks are all now displaced by some kind of polyester blend. Well I do not want polyester. They are not the same feel as cotton. In the winter, cotton wont cause as much static shock (Polyester does). Maybe I dont want static shock. Maybe I dont want polyester pants clinging to my legs in the winter. What's up with that? That is not too much to ask. At the risk of sounding like a sock-snob, (which I am not), I protest: polyester socks must stop! End the madness! To all of the sock manufacturers, sock designers, and product engineers out there in the world, if you are browsing through random sock reviews, kindly replace your polyester with cotton! I would pay more for that extra bit of cotton. Please! do the right thing! You can change the world! I understand why they use polyester, because it is cheaper, but dont cheat me.

Excellent Price, Durability, Comfort and Moisture Control
I’ve gone through a lot of socks over the years, and these genuinely surprised me. The Dickies Dri-Tech crew socks strike a really solid balance between comfort, durability, and moisture control—something that’s harder to find than it should be. First thing I noticed was the fit. I ordered the Large (I’m a size 12 ), and they hug the foot without feeling tight or restrictive. The arch compression is subtle but helpful, especially if you’re on your feet most of the day. They stay in place well—no slipping down into your shoes or bunching at the toes. --- I bought these especially because I need a sock that breathes because I am fighting a fungal problem on my toes -- and these are extremely comfortable and they stay dry because of their breathability. Breathability is where these really stand out. I’ve worn them during long workdays and light workouts, and they do a great job keeping my feet dry. The moisture-wicking fabric actually works, which isn’t always the case with socks that claim it. Even after hours of wear, they don’t feel damp or uncomfortable. The cushioning is just right—not too thick, not too thin. Enough padding to make a difference but still breathable and not bulky. Reinforced heel and toe areas also seem built to last; after multiple washes, I haven’t noticed thinning or fraying. Speaking of washing, they hold up very well. No significant shrinkage, and they maintain their shape and elasticity better than many other brands I’ve tried in the same price range. If I had to nitpick, which I am not about to do because I already love these Dickie's, I’d say they run slightly warm for hot summer days, but that’s pretty typical for cushioned crew socks. Overall, these are dependable, comfortable, and durable everyday socks that punch above their price point. I’d definitely buy them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for reliable daily wear—whether for work, casual use, or light activity. One more important point -- they are a truly great value at their more than reasonable price point.

Tight around the calves
These are nice cosy looking socks, but I found that the top of the socks grip too tight around my legs. Admittedly, I'm a large man with quite thick legs - I have now given these to my wife who is keeping them to use in the winter.
