Not a fan of most lumber pillows but have been needing one recently. I was worried that this would be too thick but it’s been perfect for my car driver’s seat. The strap isn’t too visible in my car, and holds the cushion close against the seat, it’s a good fit for my 2018 Chevy Volt. Helps me drive without pain again!

I had several of these types of cushion designs in the past, but this one feels so much better (the cushion) without feeling too firm in the lower back. In addition, the color matches my seats perfectly - see the two attached photos. Highly recommended.

I would say a stiffer more supportive structure within the pillow would be better to provide support. I would say it OK, not great. I used it on a long strip, 15 hrs driving straight and it was probably ok.

I usually get back pain when driving for about an hour. I originally bought this for my Mustang but haven’t tried it in that car yet because of the winter weather. Instead, I tested it on the driver’s seat of a rental car during a 10+ hour road trip, and it worked great. When I switched to the passenger seat for a while and didn’t have it with me, I started feeling back pain again. It made a huge difference, so I’ll definitely be buying another one for the passenger seat when I go on road trips.

My husband’s work car has a horrible driver’s seat that causes him back pain. This lumbar support pillow has fixed the problem. It installed really easily and keeps the pain away.

I've been having low back pain when driving for a long extended time. It was unbearable. This cushion reduce 90% of the backpack which is well worth the investment. It worked for me and I hope it works for you. Super comfortable as well.
