It's just first impressions!I just received and tested it but I can tell right now: this pad is magnificent! Like some people already said, I have no idea how I lived without it.I use it as an equivalent to the desk lamp to light my drawings. That way there is no shadows cast by my body or pen/pencil I hold in my hand. Plus everybody who was into drawing know that if you want to see if your drawing is going in the right direction, you should flip the page and look at the inverted image. That pad works perfect for that as well.Here's how you operate the light:1. If you press the ON button, the light will switch on and will set the brightness to the previously set brightness level.2. If you press and hold the ON button, the light will go all the way up to the maximum brightness.3. Now, if you press and hold the ON button, the light will get gradually more dim until it switch itself off. You should release the ON button the moment you feel the brightness level is to your liking.4. If you press the ON button once, the light will switch itself off.5. When the light is off, press the ON button once to switch the light on again. The brightness level will go back to the previously set by you in the step no.3.6. If you want to change the brightness level, turn the light on, then press and hold ON button, the light will go to the max brightness. Then press and hold the button so the light will get more and more dim. Release the button when the brightness level is to your liking.There is only on button- ON. It's not really a button you can press, it works like a sensor, just like the buttons on Android smartphones. The device is able to remember only one brightness level at the time. The max brightness is pretty bright, I had to lower it to work comfortably. The power cable is pretty long, looks like 150cm. You can use normal cellphone charger with USB socket to power the pad. The pad is very light and looks delicate so I would recommend caution when moving it around. The paper I use seems to "stick" to the pad's surface so no clip is required during drawing.I'm really happy with how it works and how it looks, right now it's difficult to estimate how long the light will last. But my overall first impression is very very good. ### ⭐⭐ Product arrived damaged *by I*** on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 July 2018* The product arrived with a very warped LED board which I was disappointed by as it doesn’t lay flat and gives uneven light when in use.
