It's somewhat educational as it uses story lines with actual sea creatures and gives in depth insight into the characteristics of many of these unique creatures, which at times are rare and almost unheard of. Many living in the mysterious "Midnight Zone" of the ocean/sea. 3 stars for educational purposes, 2 stars for keeping my daughter interested in the story line, time and time again as she waits to see the photos of the real life sea creatures which were characterized/depicted in the episode.
