But unfortunately they didn’t even hold up to a wood glue-up for a farm table.I tightened down my clamps in sequence and this one exploded under pressure.Down right unacceptable. These are clamps they shouldn’t shatter under pressure. I obviously didn’t put much pressure on the clamp because the t-bar is still straight. ### ⭐ Casting is defective *by H***A on Reviewed in the United States on August 5, 2019* These clamps are made of cast metal and the quality control is unacceptable. The two halves of the casting mold are not aligned, and the mismatch creates a significant ridge in the fixed clamp surface. This irregular surface makes the clamps unsuitable for typical use. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Poor casting. *by K***B on Reviewed in the United States on February 7, 2020* Just received and spotted a flaw right away. Appears to be sturdy, but lacks quality craftsmanship. Specifically, there is a casting line that runs up the center, all the way to the foot end. That would be ok, if they ground it flat, but the foot end, that you place on something to clamp it, is about a 1/16 lower on one side. That will cause the clamp to twist and fall off when you tighten it. I thought about returning, but I'll just level the foot out flat with a grinder and call it good.
