## Overview

The Flip Up Eye Patch is a specialized occluder designed for target shooting sports, featuring a rubber-coated grip for comfort and stability. It's also suitable for individuals recovering from eye surgery, making it a versatile accessory for both sport and health.

## Description

Standard clip on adjustable (and trimable) plastic round eyepatch (also know as occluder). Transparent/Opaque white color allows light to enter the "non shooting" eye to keep your aiming eyes iris balanced. Because of the Transparent/Opaque characteristics this eye patch will allow some light to pass through. SOLID white color does not allow light to enter the "non shooting" eye, no light will pass through. Correct target shooting should be done with both eyes open, and the "non shooting" eye blanked out with a patch. This patch allows the user to flip it down when shooting and flip it up when not, for reloading magazines, scoring, etc. Some shooters believe an eye patch should still allow light to enter the non shooting eye to keep the aiming eyes iris normal. By closing the non shooting eye the aiming eye will over compensate for the lack of light entering and you will lose your focus, resulting in poor scores. Eye Patch - WHITE Opaque Clip On / Adjustable *Two eye patches are pictured but you are only purchasing one WHITE OPAQUE eye patch. The safety glasses shown in the pictures are for representation purposes only and are NOT included in this purchase. The eye patch is 2.25 inches in diameter.

Review: Works well! - I have AMD, especially in one eye, and that can make it hard to read. My not-so-good eye distorts what I see, so I had tried blocking one eyeglass lens with a piece of paper. It helped, so I ordered this mechanical eye patch. It is well made and works just as I hoped it would. I don't flip it up as a rule and just remove it from my glasses when I don't need to use it, but this eye patch really does the job.
Review: Great accessory for rifle shooting. - I shoot rifle right handed but I am left eye dominant. I get a lot of strain in my left eye after an hour of shooting while keeping it closed tight. With these I just attach to my glasses and I can shoot for hours with zero eye strain. Works great for service rifle matches too. Excellent quality construction and flip up/down works great.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can they be attached to prescription lens?**
A: Yes, I use them with prescription glasses. Best to use your backup glasses if you have them though.

**Q: Are the opague white plastic lens replacement available somewhere ?**
A: Hello. Thank you for your questions. The clip on component is riveted to the plastic lens material and the lens material is not replicable without the clip. It might be possible to remove the rivets and use small eyeglass type screws and nuts to replace the lens material itself, but it would require some custom work on your part.

**Q: Does the purchase include one piece or two as shown in the pictures ?**
A: Mine came with one, the opaque one. The picture shows a solid white one and an opaque one. Very happy with the product.
