Booda Cleanstep Litter Tray, Iris Brushed Nickel

We've tried three different designed litter trays, before this one, for our increasingly fussy cat who just one day stopped going outdoors. She refuses to go into covered litter trays through flaps, and so we ended up using an open litter tray where she somehow always managed to 'miss' the tray when standing in it creating loads of mess and smell everywhere. The Booda was a last resort and we are amazed that it has worked so well. She actually goes in quite happily, the mess is all contained, and the smells have pretty well disappeared. The secret is not to overfill with cat litter (especially if it's the sort that expands a lot when wet) and to scoop out the waste and clumps every day. We also stuck some velcro in strategic locations round the base to help the lid remain firmly in place. Really pleased.

Pussies and us are very happy with this. A nice design, nice to look at and does the job well. Took our puds a day to accept it and go inside but now haps.

If your looking for a large cat 💩 box then this is not the box your looking for cuz of the steps that go up into the box it takes half of litter part away!! So don’t be miss lead by the images it looks big but n reality it’s quite small and very Annoying putting the lid on! I’ve ended up buying another litter it’s not so fancy but works alot better!

I have to medium sized cats, and they are litter mates. This dome is perfect for both of them. It's quite large, and hard to hide, but comfortable for the cats and minimises the litter being tracked all over the house!

This is excellent and stop litter from spreading everywhere as well. Privacy for the cats and looks good.

I wanted a sizeable litter box which would reduce foot tread and prevent smells. I have two kittens. This one looked appealing, and whilst expensive, certainly prevented foot tread. It is big, the footprint is the size of a large chair. But as far as smell containment is concerned, the lack of a flap means there is absolutely no reduction in smell at all. It's effect is the same as an open litter tray. Why the manufacturers cannot provide a door flap is a mystery to me.

This is a great litter tray. I had an issue with one of my cats sometimes missing the tray, but this tray solves that problem as if he misses, it goes on the steps and not on my floor! Its been a great purchase and I'm very pleased with it.

After years of my cat infrequently using her litter tray I have finally found a tray she is happy with. I left the lid off for a few days to let her get used to it 2 weeks now with no accidents. Very happy it reduces the mess and smells highly recommended

Bigger than expected and quite spacious. However, the overall workmanship is rather poor. Sharp plastic edges, leftover pieces of plastic from the mould and the cover doesn't sit properly on the base.

La forme est sympa et pas de litière à l'extérieur, mais la partie supérieure est juste posée sur la partie inférieure, donc on ne peut la déplacer sans que les 2 parties ne se déboîtent ! Matériau extrêmement léger en plus, donc le chat la bouge tout seul en entrant ou sortant ! Très mauvais rapport qualité/prix

Good design. But lack latches to secure the dome.. Useless at the same time

Very disappointing. Only suitable for kittens or small cats, very messy as litter gathers on steps and spills out onto the floor despite daily cleaning.
