works great!
We initially bought another, similar personal weather station (PWS) on Amazon made by another brand. Unfortunately, a neighbor across the street has a PWS operating on the same frequency, so the indoor station was picking up theirs and not ours. Not great, because their PWS is in a bad spot where it's sheltered from the wind, thus measuring no wind ever. So, back it went, and I went on the hunt for a PWS that used a different frequency... which is how I found this Vevor one. It came with "some assembly required" which was pretty easy to do. Got it setup and paired pretty quickly, and everything seemed accurate. However, it was not measuring rainfall. Even when we poured water in it, it measured zero precipitation. I manually rocked the see-saw back and forth a bunch, and nothing registered. I opened a support case with Vevor, who responded quickly that they wanted pictures and/or a video of the inside of the rain gauge component. My assumption was that they were wanting to see if we had removed a piece of tape that was inside there (the instructions didn't mention it, but we removed the tape since it was clearly necessary). To my surprise, that was not it—they noticed that the see-saw was mounted backwards, so that the magnet was facing outward instead of inward. I popped that off, flipped it around, and mounted it correctly... and the next day it registered 1.86" of precipitation, which seems accurate for the amount of rain we had that day in a heavy storm! Super happy with how it works. It also syncs up with Weather Underground and WeatherCloud so that we can monitor the PWS from anywhere we have internet access (phone, laptop, etc.) which is a feature the first model we tried didn't have. Turns out that is very nice to have! It gives you all kinds of information and historical date for your PWS that you wouldn't have otherwise. Now I wish it would sync with PWSWeather.com, but it does not support that. Maybe they will add it someday—that would be nice. All in all, we're very happy with this unit and hope it lasts a long time.

Vevor warranty is a nonexistent joke
If I could give Vevor negative stars I would. Ordered the wifi weather station thinking what a great price it even came with a 1 year warranty so how could I loose. Well I found out. 2 weeks after installing the station the display stopped working it was locked with the last signal it received. The display said I had a 8mph wind yet the wind sensor wasnt moving. The temperature read 26°f but my car read 62°f. After some investigation I found the sensor station battery was defective. Contacted Vevor and received this reply: "Dear Customer, We place great importance on your satisfaction and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused. We have confirmed that the issue stems from a damaged battery. Here is the purchase link: https://www.amazon.com/-/zh/dp/B08DFYJDJG/ Should you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Sincerely, Rainbow Customer Support" WTF The first email I got from them said they do not have replacement parts and I would have to send the unit back. Problem with that is it takes about an hour to install the unit so I would have to waste an hour taking it down send it back then once I received the new unit another hour to install it. So rather than sending a replacement battery they have me a link to purchase 2 batteries not just one but 2 for &10 and change. I told them that there solution was not acceptable. The unit is 3 weeks old with a supposed 1yr warranty and they then tell me I have to purchase the replacement battery?!! What a crock of 💩. I have ordered several different Vevor rproducts over the years and was happy with my purchase's but I never really had a problem with any of them. Because of this how they ha.dled this I will never order another Vevor product ever again. So in lieu of spending 2 hours removing and replacing the sensor pack I called Amazon and laid out my Convery with Vevor. They were gracious enough to give me an $18 credit which more.than covered the cost of the replacement battery Vevor recommended. Kudos to Amazon and Vevor can suck eggs!

You’ll be pleased with this purchase
Just bought this after reading several reviews of stations in my price range. Setup was fairly easy and hardware was easy to work with. Sensor functionality is solid and reliable. Network registration took a bit to figure out, but relatively straightforward if you’ve registered other network devices and you’re familiar with the processes. The display unit is very easy to understand and quite pleasant with the layout. I’m using the WeatherUnderground app which only took about 20 minutes to begin receiving live feed after registering my station. Today is my first day of use, so I’ll update this review after a few months and detail some of the things I discover with use and features. Overall, I’m very pleased with the product quality, features and price. So far, I would recommend this station.

It works better than expected but interferes with smoke detectos.
First, the good: For the money, I have been impressed; it cost less than half of the other PWS that I was looking at. The range between the PWS and display / base station is excellent. Setting it up and getting it online to Weather Underground was easy and it hasn't missed any updates. I'm not sure how accurate the wind measurements are, they seem low but I don't have any way of verifying. The rain gauge seems accurate, as does the temperature. Now for the interference: I know this is going to sound weird but it does make sense. This PWS causes my First Alert wireless interconnect smoke detectors to go off randomly. The day after I installed this PWS my smoke detectors started giving random false alarms. At first I assumed one of them was bad, identified what I believed to be the faulty unit, and replaced it. Then the issue continued happening. After researching I found the PWS and the smoke detectors all operate on the same frequency and while the smoke detectors are supposed to use code hopping technology to prevent false alarms, it doesn't seem to work. This isn't necessarily a knock against the Vevor PWS, but I say it in case anyone else is banging their head against the wall trying to figure this out.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT AT A REASONABLE PRICE
I'm so impressed with the quality and function of this PWS that I bought a 2nd one to use on the RV when we travel and a 3rd one as a Christmas gift for my brother. Assembly was simple and instructions were easy to follow. The sensor array has fantastic range. My display unit is roughly 150' from the sensor array and there are 2 interior walls and a exterior wall between the sensor array and the display, yet I'm getting 4 bars of signal. The display is bright and easy to read, even from a near 90 degree angle, so I'm just baffled by those reviewers that found fault with the display. I set my PWS to upload to Weather Underground and that function is working perfectly. Very, very happy with this product.

WiFi instructions are useless.
The setup is fairly straightforward and monitor set up is as well. However they don’t have an app for the WiFi and the instructions are useless. If you are buying it for the WiFi save your money and go with a cheaper non WiFi.

Died shortly after the warranty ran out.
Bought this weather station with the thought I wouldn't have to go on the roof and change batteries... For the first year it worked well (which is why I gave it 2 stars) but after the warranty expired so did the solar system. Initially I figured it had a glitch when the display for all outside items (Wind, Rain, Temp, etc.) froze on the screen. Rebooted the inside display but the outside unit never re-synched. Went up on the roof and took the Station indoors to troubleshoot. Thought maybe the battery pack dies prematurely so I bought a new one, re-setup everything but no go. In summary; Nice product initially but the Reliability and apparent Battery Life/Solar charging capabilities do not hold up so I would not recommend this product. Disappointed to say the least.

The weather station is of excellent quality and is extremely easy to set up and use. The instructions are well presented and easy to follow. There was a problem with delivery by the courier , butbthe customer service department of VEVOR resolved that problem extremely effectively . I highly recommend both the weather station and the company
