Each Hyperion is supplied with a soft leather storage bag for safe keeping, and two dust caps for storing the eyepiece with either the rubber eyeguard either folded up or down! The Hyperion design has has both a 31.7mm (1 1/4") and 50.8mm (2") barrel for fitting into either size focuser or diagonal. Both barrel sizes have a safety groove for safe use in your telescope. Each Hyperion features Baader's PHANTOM-GROUP Multi-Coatings for maximum light transmission and the ultimate in image contrast. There are two photographic threads on each Hyperion, M43 and SP54. These threads are located under the rubber eye-cap, or rather beneath the thread protecting ring which is made of high-quality and aging-resistant silicone rubber.A variety of focal lengths can be obtained from each Hyperion. A second focal length is easily acheived by removing the first group of lenses. Each EP is boxed as an individual retail item which is fantastic; if like me you already own one or more and will sell-on the equivalent new EP. Considering each EP retails at between £80 & £90 and you get the case which is really handy for storage (which normally retails around £50) this is a great deal.I already had the 21mm EP and was really impressed with the image quality on a celestron 9.25 SCT. With the poor weather I've only been able to try them once so far, but have been really pleased with theThese clearly aren't TV Delos league, but they are a fraction of the price. I doubt I'll use them all; specifically the 5mm as that's probably a bit over the top for UK viewing conditions. Each is 'modular', so you get double the amount of eyepieces except the larger one. 5mm is as usable as the rest, even when Barlowed! Threaded tops mean they can be fitted to the DSLR with the required T adapter. They come in a large foam lined case - very nice! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent eyepiece when used on a Zeiss Diascope telescope *by J***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 June 2015* Excellent eyepiece when used on a Zeiss Diascope telescope. My impression is that it is a little sharper with slightly wider field of view than the Zeiss zoom eyepiece. It is easier to use if one where's eyeglasses. Good robust construction. Chromatic aberrations are hardly noticeable used as an eyepiece but are significant when coupling to a camera. Better to use the Zeiss adapter for photographic purposes. The mount rather than the FTR joint undid initially. It's a narrow diameter and therefore subject to greater force.
