I use this set of cutters for fine wire work in electronics for model railways. It is larger than I really would like but has beautifully sharp solid cutting jaws which strip insulation perfectly. It is vital you avoid any wires that are not copper otherwise the cutter will be ruined. Also take care to use the correct size of cutting slot for your wire. I frequently use 0.6mm or less wires for decoder work which demands precise soldering and cutting where you need to be confident about getting every cut just right. I always wear my glasses so I can clearly read the markings on the jaws. I have yet to find a superior product.

Perfect for LEDs, book nook wiring and small electronics projects, it strips fine wires cleanly and accurately without turning them into a frayed copper bird’s nest. The spring-loaded handles are comfortable to use, the size markings are easy to read, and unlike some cheap strippers, this one doesn’t require the grip strength of a dock worker just to remove a bit of insulation. What really impressed me was how precise it feels on delicate wiring. If you’ve ever tried stripping tiny LED wires with scissors, side cutters or your teeth while questioning your life choices, this tool is a massive upgrade. The built-in wire cutter is also handy and saves hunting around the bench for another tool you’ve inevitably buried under bits of MDF and instruction sheets. Solidly made, comfortable in the hand and excellent value for money. It’s not industrial electrician-level kit, but for hobby work, lighting kits and electronics tinkering, it does the job brilliantly. Highly recommended — especially if you’re tired of accidentally cutting the entire wire off while “carefully stripping” it.

Excelente para pelar cables de red, yo lo use para un proyecto de electrónica donde tenia que conectar componentes con cables de red y me fue de utilidad, sin estas pinzas tenía que hacerlo de manera rudimentaria con un cortarlas o con un cuter y tardaba mucho, las pinzas me ayudaron a terminar en 10min lo que antes me hacía en 1 hora

These wire strippers were the only ones which I found to fit the correct gauge for what I need. I would highly recommend this product as I cannot find any flaws with it, the grips are comfortable, the tool is very efficient, and it is obviously made out of high quality metal. My only criticism would be that the gauge which it strips is limited. If you want to strip wire which is 20 gauge or below, you should consider other options.
