This is a great screen protector - and I can't find any faults with the product itself. The only thing I will say is that there is a minor weakness in the firmware of the Xperia 1V itself. Since Android 14 did not introduce the screen sensitivity adjustment as intended, putting this or any other screen protector on this particular model will have an impact on how you interact with your phone. You'll need to train yourself to put a little more pressure than you may be used to. After about a week, I didn't really even notice. Not a fault, not really a downside, just something to keep in mind. Overall highly recommend.

Super easy installation

Smudges are non existent, if you do get some prints, it is easy to clean off, water slides off fast, so far no scratches, when putting on case on ly phone it doesn't push off my screen protector, everything stays on. Recommend this product 100 percent. Wish they had for iphone phones. Perfect on my Xperia 1 V.

I tried couple other screen protectors for my new 1VI but they all have the LED and camera cutout. Sony doesn't even have LED notification lights since 1V so it's i am not sure why there's still a cutout for it.This is one of the only screen protect that protects the entire front of the screen without those cutouts. Good quality, good price and easy to install. The best one so far.

That thing breaks for no reason, it is so frustrating. I have bought so many of them yet it is always the same issue.

This is my second time writing this review because AI doesn't understand human language all that well.Tl;DrIf you use selfies at least somewhat and use them outside, look elsewhere for a protector. If you don't care about them, this is hands down the best protector for the 1 VI.My overall score is a 3.5/5, with the fit/finish getting a 5/5, the included accessories getting a 5/5, and the function getting a 1/5.Pros1) This thing comes with a great deal of accessories, including a rear glass skin that protects the glass and an aluminum cover for the camera hump...that is neat! Be mindful that the camera cover will not work with some cases, including the best one currently out for the 1 VI.2) the included plastic frame guide is an absolute must these days for glass protectors. There's no reason not to include an inexpensive piece of plastic to ensure that the customers get a perfect install on the first try, so all screen protectors should come with these.Cons1) see the two selfie pictures? One of them is in portrait orientation and the other is in landscape position. You'll notice that there is unintentional refraction on the top and left sides, respectively. I know one reviewer said that the sensors and camera being covered were good, but if you take selfies at all outside, just know that this is NOT a good feature. The curvature of the edge of the glass will cause light to bend in ways the uncovered camera wouldn't and the results are as you can see above. There is no way to move the glass any farther up, either. right up against the case lip.

Install kit and screen protector are great, not so much the camera lens protector (it only has adhesive around the central lens, edges are peeling up).

Alright, installation was simple. I didn't get any front protector bubbles or dust following the instructions. I was wearing a face mask during the entire installation so that might have helped a lot. The back cover was tricky and the most complicated part. I got plenty air bubbles, but using the dry cloth and pressing slightly hard helped (don't use anything sharp, like your nails, otherwise you will scratch your phone thorugh). The only con is the lens cover. I wish at least it matched the different colors this phone comes out. Mine is the Platinum Silver, and the black lens cover really makes it look weird. Thinking in maybe just take it off. Btw, the back cover doesn't come with an "easy peel" tab, you will struggle a little bit there. Overall, good fit. If you wonder what's my phone case (the clear one next to me in the pics) is the one called Ustiya. You can find it here in Amazon. It's real good.

I know it's expensive compared to other protectors out there, and for other phones. But you do get what you pay for.I was climbing a waterfall and shooting photos. I got a little careless on the slippery rocks, holding my phone while I took a tumble. Instinctively, I threw my hands out in front of me. It wasn't the biggest fall into the rocks, but the screen went face-down onto the boulders, with my weight behind it. Of course the glass was cracked. I feared the worst.You know, a replacement LCD is $500 for this phone. That's what I thought I might be facing. After all, my phone screen broke my fall directly onto the rocks. That's a very big hit, with the irony being this is the same waterfall I dropped my old Note 3 into over a decade ago, which did claim it too, back when it was the latest flagship.But my brand-new Xperia was okay. This tempered glass screen protector and great case truly came through. That's all I could've asked of it. Therefore, it was completely worth it, despite the cost. Expensive, yes; but good enough. It did what's necessary. So I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it over a cheaper brand. I hope I'm equally fortunate next time, whether it be at this waterfall or elsewhere. Buy quality. Install carefully. Don't regret it.Note: A great case is equally important. It must be stiff and protective, and work in conjunction with the TGSP. So make sure you have both.

It’s fairly easy to install with the included alignment frame and if you take your time removing dust specs from the screen beforehand you can get a flawless installation on the first try as pictured.The kit is quite basic compared to other screen protectors where you just have to pull on a plastic tab and everything is done for you, but it gets the job done regardless.

Genuinely the best, easiest to fit screen protector I've bought.Highly recommend.Sony Xperia 1 VIThe screen cleaner, cloth and dust puller (2 sets included) work well.The fitting trim makes life an absolute doddle and the glass went on dead straight due to the clip on frame guide, with no bubbles at all and adheres very well.The carbon effect rear protector is also a very nice touch, as is the camera protector - it doesn't cover over the lenses themselves but does offer them a raised edge, so if put down the lens glass won't touch any surface and get scratches.Wil buy again for my next phone 👍🏻

Wow! Mit Abstand der beste Screenprotektor den ich je gefunden habe. Endlich :DWarum ist er gut:- Sehr glatt und angenehm beim Anfassen. Fühlt sich ähnlich gut an wie das orginal Glas.- Sehr flache Ränder. Man spührt kaum, dass ein Protektor drauf ist, wenn man von der Seite rein wischt/swiped, perfekt- Sehr gute Passform, kaum Abstände an der Seite des Displays. Nur eben dort wo das Dipsplay anfängt abgerundet zu sein. Also man hat auch keine Weissen ränder.- Touch funktioniert weiterhin als wäre kein Protektor drauf- Frontkamera und Lichtsensor sind Ausgespart, sodass sie weiterhin perfekt funktionieren und nicht verdeckt sind- Kameraabdeckung/Protektor hinten passt perfekt und hat nur Aussparungen, anstatt Folie/Gläße die das Kamerabild versauen. Andere Hersteller kleben Sogar das Mikroloch hinten zu. Hier nicht. Absolut perfekt.- Kameraadreckung sie aus als wäre sie Teil des Telefons bzw. orginal- 2 Gläßer enthalten, entweder wenn man versagt bei der Montage, oder wenn es mal bricht.- Sehr einfache Montage mit dem Rahmen der gut passtNegativpunkte:- Die Folie für die Rückseite ist nicht erwähnenswert. Sieht man aber schon auf den Bildern und deswegen hab ichs nicht gekauft- Das Zeiss T* Logo könnte an dem Kameraprotektor auch ausgespart sein, damit man es weiterhin sieht.Und dann kostet es auch nur gute 10€.
