A versatile gun rest with soft and shape forming bean bag top that fits most rifles. This shock absorbing bag make a perfect support for precision shooting and hunting use. Bottom steel plate has 1/4" threaded port for use on Hammers shooting tripods and monopods. It is also a good choice to convert a regular everyday use camera tripod into a shooting tripod. There is also a thread adapter included to allow use of the rest on camera tripods with 3/8 thread Here are some of the features: Top of bean bag measures 5 inch wide and 2 inch deep(front to back) For use with tripods with both 1/4" and 3/8" screws Weight: 15oz. *Camera tripod shown in picture is NOT included

Review: Does what it is supposed to do - This is a simple product with a simple purpose and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. I needed a tripod mounted rest to use while target shooting. This came with an adapter to fit two different sizes of tripod mounts. It appears heavy and well made and I've had no issues.
Review: Works great - Well made and stable. If I were to have any complaint at all it would be that the metal plate on the bottom inst actually attached to the sand bag. Its strapped on so it can slide back and forth. It wont slide off but it can slide. I suppose the upside would be that its replaceable in that regard.

This is a simple product with a simple purpose and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. I needed a tripod mounted rest to use while target shooting. This came with an adapter to fit two different sizes of tripod mounts. It appears heavy and well made and I've had no issues.

Works great to rest a long camera lens on without being locked in to a mount for quick release while photographing wildlife. It's an easy mount on a camera tripod. It's not really a soft mount... I would describe the product more as a "firm" bean bag.
