Review: A good product that I am happy to recommend - It is a nice bit of gear and relatively solid and it was nice that I did not have to put it together for a change. I am not sure how strong the dowels will be but I think that providing you treat them with respect they should be fine. What is the width between the dowels?** A: 4cm **Q: How do you keep your threads from coming loose?** A: My threads don’t come loose. The holder is great and holds all my threads safely. **Q: Please can you tell me how high the spindles are & the distance between each spindle? Also the width of each spindle please as I need to store bobbins** A: Spindles are 3cm high and 4cm between. They are 4mm wide I can fit 3 Bernina bobbins on each. **Q: will this hold brother embroidery cones** A: I use Madeira and Floriani 1000m spools and they fit. They would be even more stable if used on a surface as in the picture, but due to lack of space my 4 spool holders are wall mounted and spools can be more easily jolted off their pins …… but they do make life easier! Nicely made , from what looks like beech. Fully made so no assembly required. All the wood is nicely finished so no snagging. Each spike is big enough to hold spools but not spool +bobbin. Quite a narrow profile so it doesn't stick out too much.
