Strong Clear Audio
Presentation to management moved from main conference room to a larger meeting room. Audio systems undergoing an update, so no built-in system available. Pulled this out of my backpack and it worked like a charm. Excellent audio quality. The management team ordered several units to have on hand for the future.

Works Great and is Packable for Road Warriors
I had a company provided Poly Sync 20 in a prior job that I had to leave behind when left that job. I liked it enough that I bought one of my own. I didn't buy the Teams version but the non-Teams version works great with Teams and every other tele- and video-conferencing system I've used. That its flat makes (and comes with a nifty case) makes it easy to slip into a laptop bag. Combine that with the included battery, and you have a great travel speaker. I also use it connected by Bluetooth to an iPhone. When I use my cell phone at work I'm almost always on speakerphone because its convenient to be hands free so I can take notes and because Apple doesn't know how to make a phone with a decent ear volume. I can hear better using the Poly Sync 20 versus my phone as a speakerphone and whoever I'm taking to can hear me better. You can spend a lot of money on these office speakerphones but I think this one is right at the intersection of function and value.

Great audio and microphone quality!
Very easy set up, the audio quality and microphone are really good, no echo is picked up and the speaker has great bass. Works very well with all Zoom, Teams and Google Meet, including the micrrophone mute button. I wish the shortcut button was remmapable to more functionalities, but other than that, very solid piece for the home office!

Not a bad choice, given quirks
After living with this unit for daily phone calls over the course of 2 months: for the price - not a bad choice. Was hoping that it would become preferable over what it was replacing, but due to issues noted below finding it less than favorable. Pros: - When volume is 'correct', the audio is very pleasant and crisp. (audio in terms of voice is it's strong suit) - Speaker (driver itself) seems to present audio in a fashion that can (at times) make otherwise difficult to hear accents/vocal nuances easier to discern. - This is both pro and con: can overdrive the audio, sometimes causing reverb (others hear themselves) or problematic audio. (hence first pro - find the 'right' volume to maximize without over driving). This can be helpful on conference calls where audio is already weak/low to begin with. Cons: - The 'app' for this device seems overly large/complex, especially for firmware update and changing a few settings. - Constantly disconnects from a phone vs. staying connected until either the phone leaves range or manually disconnect from the device. Frustrating as most days it means manual re-connection (not re-pairing) multiple times a day. Even when the phone is on a charger, on the same desk and hasn't "moved". - Disconnects don't seem to be a result of some sort of 'sleep' or 'idle' timer - as its too random. (still trying to discern a pattern to this behavior) - Bluetooth range is more limited (compared to prior). Comparison: - Jabra Speak2 75: Speak2 can get louder without over driving. Speak 2 has periodic updates (without being excessive). Speak2 is smaller in overall desktop real estate, compared to Poly. Speak2 doesn't randomly disconnect. Poly has slightly better audio for vocal audio range and ability to 'over amplify' for calls where audio from others is weak. Other: - Upon receiving, made sure the firmware was up to date. Looked through all settings to make sure it was configured (and optimized) for singular use case: USB for integrated conf calls and Bluetooth for dial-in conf calls. - As this is purely used for "calls", musicality was not a consideration. - Being 'always powered', the battery life was not a consideration. - Bluetooth range is reasonable. Previous unit had more range.

Battery issue
I used this speakerphone for several weeks but suddenly the battery stopped charging and I was unable to turn it on. The side buttons did absolutely nothing. I ended up returning it because it became completely useless.

2023 version just seems better all around the old 2021 version like a beta project
I really wanna trust you guys, speakers are great. Focus your updates on improving the microphone algorithms. Last time I updated the 2021 firmware the mute bottom stopped working. My suggestion if you buy this don’t upgrade the firmware. No there No Way you can downgrade to the last or original factory shipped firmware. It was then useless to me for work. I had to buy this 2023 version again. In the future, please allow us to upgrade or downgrade the firmware version. It’s essentially almost possible to brick this device with a bad firmware update. In the future, please allow us to upgrade or downgrade the firmware version. It’s is very possible to brick this device, which is terrible for a top shelf, premium brand speakerphone . Everything else is pretty great so far with this version. I’m never gonna update my firmware again, if it works there’s nothing to fix.

Just use speakerphone
Mediocre sound quality. Maybe just the unit I received, but during phone calls and testing, most people said it sounded better on just plain speakerphone. Plantronics used to be the gold standard, but quality has gone downhill since HP purchased them.
