Does not have enough strength.
It does not hold weight of the standard remote! Glue comes off, after remote hanging in there for a while. If you want to use for the item less than 60-70 gram, then it may work.

Perfect Little Upgrade for Any Setup
I grabbed this 4-pack of magnetic remote holders, and honestly, they’re way better than I expected. Super simple idea, but they clean up the setup fast. The magnets are strong enough to hold the remote securely, but not so strong that you have to fight it off. It just clicks into place clean every time. The adhesive on the back sticks solid—no slipping, no peeling—and you get enough pieces to organize multiple remotes or even small accessories. I mounted one behind my TV, one on the side of my desk, and kept two as backups. The design is minimal and low-profile, so it doesn’t look cheap or bulky.
