Review: Essential item during treckking - Used it in Ponmudi ( Near Trivandrum) trekking. It definitely protects your leg from leeches but leeches climbover as its not coated with leech repellent. Hence one need to check if leeches have climbed over. Dont enter place of stay after trekking wearing leech socks as many leeches will still be hidden between the pant and leech socks which needs to be removed. I removed nearly 10-15 leeches of various sizes. Others who did not wear leech socks had to work harder removing them frequently during treckking which i did not have to.
