Review: Great reeds - We buy these reeds regularly for my daughter. Decent enough quality for a high-school level oboe player. We've never had any issue with receiving poor quality reeds; wrapped well, sound is good. Just wish the price was lower, but then she'd have to play the clarinet.
Review: Great for beginners - Reed is softer, so great for beginners or intermediate players. You may have to clip the top or scrape it a little based on the reed and player, mine came flat, but I cut the top and it plays fine.

We buy these reeds regularly for my daughter. Decent enough quality for a high-school level oboe player. We've never had any issue with receiving poor quality reeds; wrapped well, sound is good. Just wish the price was lower, but then she'd have to play the clarinet.

Reed is softer, so great for beginners or intermediate players. You may have to clip the top or scrape it a little based on the reed and player, mine came flat, but I cut the top and it plays fine.
