Starter Bacteria Aquarium 236 ml - Nite-Out II Safe Start & Water Change

Had a well established nano brackish Opae shrimp tank that got badly contaminated by a rogue clump of seaweed popped in by a well meaning friend's little girl.No amount of partial water changes could clear the think stringy brown mess in the tank so grabbed some of this and just had to start afresh. Opaes are hardy l know, but even so, cycling a tank from scratch with them in worried me sick.Needn't have stressed out - this stuff is a life saving miracle! Yes it does pong a bit, and it has to be kept in the fridge, but its kept all parameters safe, water is clear and my shrimps are cherry red and happy bunnies again. Really impressive stuff!!

I have tried other bottled 'bacteria' from Seachem, Tetra, API and this one is superior in results.Compared to other alternatives on the market, I think it has cultures of the right bacteria (Nitrosomonas, Nitrospira and Nitrobacter) compared to other market alternatives that usually have heterotrophs or anaerobes.In my case, it dropped nitrites to near zero in under 30 hours.PROS:- Works under 24 hours in emergencies- No bloom/cloudy waterCONS:- More expensive than others- Opened bottle needs to be put in your fridge

This item helped me to set up new aquarium, also use this every time when changing water to keep my fish healthy.

Tldr. If it stinks, you haven't shaken it up enough. It works. It cycled my 25l tank fully in a week with 20% water changes everyday when I got home from work. I inherited fish so had to put them in on day one. 9 harlequin, 4 amano shrimp and 3 oto. I just used the tetra test strip for ease of testing. Nitrites and nitrates were at 0 on day 8. Once opened keep it in the fridge. Made the water a bit cloudy but don't worry about it as that cleared up a couple of days after I stopped using it. All fish are feeding well and the harlequin were even showing breeding behaviour after day 4.

Not good would not buy again. Water didn’t look any different. Very watery, expected it too be thicker. Very expensive for something that doesn’t work.

Pour le contexte :Mon bac cyclé depuis plusieurs années a eu une panne de filtration.Une bonne partie de mes bactéries du filtre sont morte à ce moment là. Résultat : gros pic de nitrites avec intoxication de mes tetraodons nains ( ils y sont ultra sensibles ).Mes 4 poissons étaient au sol à l'agonie.En urgence j'ai placé un bulleur et gros changement d'eau sur deux jours ( le temps de recevoir l'article ( car je suis un peu loin de tout ).10ml direct dans la canne d'aspiration dès réceptionContrôle des nitrites encore hauts. Donc renouvèlement encore de 20% de l'eau du bac. Et de nouveau 10ml dans la foulée. Avec encore la pompe a air.Je rentre ce midi : mes 4 tetraodons nagent normalement ( ils sont encore faibles mais ne sont clairement plus au sol ).Le spécial blend de la marque, m'apportait déjà toute satisfaction. Il est donc tout a fait normal que le nitout soit désormais dans mon meuble.Franchement ! Merci !

Compro este producto aproximadamente cada dos semanas porque me da muy buenos resultados en mis acuarios. Cuando llega correctamente, me parece una de las mejores bacterias que he utilizado.Sin embargo, ya es la segunda vez que tengo que devolver un bote por el mismo motivo. El precinto exterior llega intacto, pero al desenroscar el tapón el sello de aluminio no está soldado al envase, sino pegado al interior del tapón. En cambio, otros productos de la misma marca, como el Sustrate Cleaner, sí llegan perfectamente sellados y hay que retirar el aluminio manualmente.Al tratarse de un producto con bacterias vivas, esta diferencia me hace dudar de si el envase ha mantenido las condiciones adecuadas. He grabado un vídeo desde el momento de abrir el paquete donde se aprecia claramente el problema.No pongo en duda la calidad del producto, porque cuando llega correctamente funciona de maravilla. Lo que sí pediría al fabricante es una explicación y un mejor control del sellado, para que el cliente pueda comprar con total confianza.
