It had a unique sound and almost sounded like a duck call. They love it. Review: Fun, Funny, and Not Too Loud - Got this for my almost 2 yo nephew for Christmas, and he really enjoyed it. The whistle is easy for little hands to manipulate and easy to produce a noise with. The noise is quite...something. I would not say it is "musical" per se but more like a cross between a kazoo and a silly sound effect. Maybe something from a cartoon? It's pretty amusing and caused a lot of laughter with plenty of adults playing with it too. And it is not loud, grating, or ear-piercing. If your kid loves it, it will lead to more laughs than winces, which is definitely a win. ## Features - FUN AND INTERACTIVE KIDS MUSIC TOY: Blow into the kazoo for an entertaining silly sound and move the crocodile’s head up and down to produce different sound pitches. - STURDY WOODEN TODDLER INSTRUMENTS: Suitable for ages 2 years+, this friendly faced wooden musical toy has easy-to-grip ridges to make pulling the slide simple for little hands. - TODDLER SENSORY TOYS: Musical instruments for toddlers like this crocodile kazoo toy foster creativity, sensory awareness & expand auditory comprehension. Ideal Montessori toys and learning toys. - PERFECT GIFT: A great addition to early instrument collections and perfect gifts for 2 year old girls and boys for a birthday, stocking stuffer, party favor, or to place in an Easter basket. - SUSTAINABLY-MADE WOODEN TOY: Made in Germany of beech wood from sustainable forestry and water-based stains.
