Review: Amazing colour night vision! - Simple to setup and install. It comes with a 9v power adapter, but I'd read that I could use my existing 12v lead, and it's working fine. The image quality is excellent, especially the colour night vision! The design doesn't have a "hood" over the front of the camera, so much less likely to get spider webs etc. It supports RTSP & ONVIF, so I have it working with my NVR software (BlueIris) just fine. Given the price point, it's an excellent little camera!

The 2800-lumen floodlights are staggeringly bright and completely light up my entire yard, and being able to adjust the angles of the dual lights is a massive bonus. The smart AI detection is brilliant at distinguishing between people, vehicles, and pets, which has drastically cut down on annoying false alerts. I also love that it has a microSD card slot so I can record locally without being forced into a monthly cloud subscription. The Tapo app is smooth, responsive, and easy to navigate. **Q: So what is the typical electrical installation for this camera? It looks like it has a cord but I dont have any outlets close to where I want them.**
A: There is another solution, but it will cost you a little money to accomplish it. You could run solar panels and a converter, and battery. You wouldn’t need many solar panels since the cameras don’t use that much power.  You can buy a solar kit from Harbor Freight that should be plenty of power to keep the battery charged and power to run the camera. 
If there’s a will there’s a way!
You could also modify the outdoor plug in that was showing in the picture of the one reply.. Have to notch the outlet box to allow for the plug to fit or  use a short extension cord and use a waterproof cover for where the extension cord plugs into the camera plug so it can’t get wet! 
The harbor freight solar kit I bought myself to have electricity in my chicken coop to have lights and keep the battery charge for a automatic chicken door. Had the kit 4 years going on 5 years actually and still working perfectly..

**Q: When you first use the camera, is the "30 day trial subscription" off, so you can evaluate the camera just with the sd card. or is it already on?**
A: Hi! By default, the camera will utilize the Micro SD card (not included) storage for 24/7 rolling recording. Kasa Care cloud storage won't be enabled unless subscribed.

**Q: I try to install 4 camera to see it like a security cam streaming 24/7 all 4 but every day mi camers said refresh Any help please**
A: Hi! For indefinite streaming via the Tapo app, your smartphone must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network or LAN as the camera (and not connected to a VPN).

**Q: can you get motion alert to your phone without the subscription. Can you view the video saved on sd card on your phone without taking sd card out?**
A: Yes to both questions

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really good

I got this a couple of months ago and it was easy to install and works very well. The picture is very clear at day and night and the person detection has been perfect except for one night it decided a cat was a person. When I set it up initially it seemed from all the research I did that the person detection didn’t get announced by Alexa, it was only motion detection However recently I have been getting Alexa notifications for person detection so maybe there has been an update. I don’t use motion detection as you get too many notifications. The camera works well when you want to talk to the person detected. I got this camera instead of a Ring doorbell which I sent back as it didn’t work very well. The camera works better than the Ring doorbell and was considerably cheaper. I’ve even used it on a mobile phone when I have been away in Spain.
