It was very easy to assemble and adjust and it fast to install on the desk. It is no problem when Im driving. High quality materials and a very nice finish makes it look like it belongs in the Sim world

I was worried that there'd be some play back and forth or the holes may not suffice, but let me tell you, your desk is the weakest link. I have the club sport shifter and the mount is sturdy at full tension. I have a generic hand brake and I'd pull my desk from the wall before the mount moves. It has room for my club sport shifter and my g29 shifter. Comes with more than enough bolts to mount what you have. HIGHLY recommend, well worth the money.

The mount is super strong. If your desk lacks grip or weight, your handbrake will tug and the desk will move. If you're like me and you let your handbrake snap to resting position, your desk is taking the full unmitigated forced of that snap and ensuing oscillation. If you got glass, probably not a good idea. The shifter plate has loads of keyways and slots for your to bolt your shifter to. In the unlikely situation that one of the patterns don't fit, you can always just clamp your shifter onto it or drill your own slots.

I'm getting into Sim Racing and I wanted a better solution that clamping my shifter and handbrake individually to my desk. I found this universal mount and it's excellent for my application! The metal is machined well and deburred so no sharp edges. Nice black coating. TONS of options for mounting the shifter or handbrake with lots of holes and slots. I mounted my Thrustmaster TH8A shifter and my USB Handbrake (from aikeec). All of the holes lined up perfectly for the shifter. The handbrake was mounted in slots which allowed flexibility to move the handbrake so my knuckles didn't crash into the handbrake when shifting into 7th gear. When mounting to my Ikea desk, make sure its mounted directly to the wood. If you clamp it ontop of the mouse pad it has a lot of play. Once mounted on the desk it's super sturdy. If you are aggressive and slam the shifter or handbrake firmly you'll get some minor flex. When racing and focusing on the game you don't notice the minor flex it at all. If you drive smoothly, shift normally and use the handbrake like you should, this mount is perfect. I can't imagine this being any stronger without multiple attachments points to the desk. So this is plenty strong for its quick clamp application and weight of the shifter and handbrake. Even after mounting both the shifter and the handbrake I still have plenty of extra hardware! Nice! I really appreciate the variety of different length bolts to fit my application. I wish the product came with a small wrench to help tighten down the nuts. The packaging came with 3 Allen keys/wrenches which is awesome but sadly no wrench. I would absolutely recommend this product!

I'm absolutely thrilled with this Universal Desk Mount for my Racing Simulation setup. From the moment I unboxed it, I was impressed with the quality and build that are top-notch. Installation was a breeze, with an easy to follow guide provided in the box. The design clearly offers seamless adjustability to cater to different desk sizes. Beyond the initial setup, what stands out is its stability. The desk mount stays strong in place, after testing a few racing games (at least #3 racing games and one race each) I can ensure that there was no unwanted movement. This helped enhanced the realism of my racing experience in were the shifter is on my right at the bottom and not attached to the top of my desk with my arm raised high making every gear shift feel genuinely immersive. It blends well in my gaming room. I currently don't have the handbrake so without the plate I got an even better experience just mounting the shifter only as you can see on the pictures I provided. I do have to remove it after my racing session is done as my gaming space is small, but that doesn't take away from the experience and how good having this racing desk mount is of course. The materials provided are also premium and nothing plastic to it, meaning that this isn't just a short-term investment, but a durable addition to any racing setup. All in all, the Universal Desk Racing Mount is the perfect product with both design and functionality in mind, a well-deserved five stars and it is truly is a game-changer for racing sim aficionados.

I am absolutely impressed with this excellent desk mount! Even though it is meant to be used for racing sims (shifter and/or e-brake lever), I got it with the hope that I could adapt it to use with my flight sim stick (Thrustmaster T.16000M). The mount uses common aluminum extrusion material, aluminum plates, and tons of extra hardware for mounting. All parts are a nice black color (I assume anodized). My desk has a tapered shape on the edges, so I was worried the quick-release clamp wouldn't hold tight. My plan was to cut a small wood shim to square up the edge, but I found it was unnecessary because the clamp is super tight. The entire adapter is super rigid and solid feeling with zero slop to it. It cycles very easily and it simple to quickly install/remove. The main mounting plate has many holes and slots to choose from. I was able to find a pair that aligns well with my flight stick base and locks everything in super solid. I chose to flip the plate so that the edges bend upwards instead of down, simply to reduce the overall bulk over my legs. I'm so happy with this result - I have ordered another mount to use with my Thrustmaster throttle on my left side. My only regret is that I didn't get these sooner!

Full adjustable worth the money got it for playing ets2(euro truck simulator 2)using the usb handbrake and logitech shifter you can raise and lower the height you want the both of the well worth it.
