Pixel 8 Pro replacement camera glass easier than it looks
I was actually preferring a similar listing, but this one was delivered a day earlier so I went with this replacement. If you are careful this is a pretty easy replacement. I used the tweezers for most of the removal as the glass had a spider web fracture coming from the center. Q-tips with alcohol helped with taking off the double sided tape. No heat was necessary. For safety and preparation I suggest nitrile gloves, safety glasses, a plate or surface, and then paper towels or plastic underneath. A few fractures of glass did go flying so I vacuumed the whole area with a dust buster and floor vacuum. The black double sided tape that is underneath the glass helps some of the pieces stay together and I worked my way to one edge then around in an oval. Shaking the glass pieces onto my plate that were falling onto the lenses. I used the tweezers to pull away from the lenses and use the sides as leverage and then scraped with the scalpel when needed. I continually applied more alcohol with a Q-tip around the edges to clean and also remove the black tape. If I got a little space with the glass I dabbed some more alcohol to loosen it for removal. Unfortunately I did not have another camera to film this but everything came off cleanly. Remember to remove some stuck tape from the center of the microphone but I do not think it is necessary to remove all the tape around the microphone. Once it was mostly clean of glass I used a Q-tip with alcohol, the dust cloth provided in the kit, as well as the tweezers to clean the edges and remove any additional glass pieces around the lenses. I also stuck the dust buster over the lenses to see if I could pull up any debris as tiny bits might have fallen behind the sides of the lenses. Lastly I used a provided wipe for the lenses and the glass area, the provided dust tape, and the provided dust cloth. Satisfied with the cleanliness of the phone I then applied the first replacement glass using the tweezers to pull the blue side tape off. I must have manhandled the replacement as the glass fit perfectly but i tried to press or slide it in and cracked the first replacement on the side. I had not tamped down the replacement and the tape had not set all the way so I had to repeat the process of removing the glass. The second replacement went in perfectly so I left the top tape on and used the cloth to gently press it into place. Overall probably the best replacement part I have ever done for a phone so far and would definitely do this again. On a side note, this may have been covered under my warranty but dealing with google as well as their authorized repair shop was a much bigger hassle than ordering one of these for next day delivery and repairing it. The repair itself was less time for me than even a round trip to the shop.

Great for Google Pixel 7
Worked perfectly on my Google Pixel 7. Was actually pretty easy to install. Be sure to use a hair dryer or heater to warm up the glue on the old glass first, it really does help remove it. Looks exactly like the original glass.

Fits well and does the job.
I shattered the glass on my 0.7 zoom lens on my Pixel 7 somehow while it was in my pocket. The package comes with 2 lens covers, in case you mess up the first one. It also comes with an exacto blade, fine pointed tweezers, and wet/dry clothes. The directions that come with it are poorly translated but are still readable. The directions tell you to start off by heating the glass with a heat gun to loosen up the glue. I did this once at the start of the removal but didn't want to risk damaging the lenses unless I really needed to. I was able to get all the glass and glue strips removed with mostly the blade and some of the tweezers. Just remember to keep the blade on the edge and not near the lense it's self. Admittedly I did scratch the phone some where the glue was but that all gets covered up by the new glass and adhesive. Once the glue and glass were removed I used the blade with light pressure to scrape some of the residual black glue around the lens hole. Then I used the wet/dry wipes to clean up around and also the lenses themselves. Dropping the new glass in was pretty simple. It fits perfectly in the lens cutout so it basically guides itself into place. My only complaint here is I wish they would indicate what side is the adhesive side. I just received and installed this today so I might update later if I have issues. I attended an outdoor wedding today and took some photos/videos with no issues. The photo I posted is after installing this glass so you can see it looks good as new!

All the tools necessary and a back up glass just incase
Super easy. The instructions aren't great, but you can see plenty of YouTube videos on how best to remove and replace the glass. Also they only give one alcohol wipe even though there are two replacements. They should give supplies to replace twice.

Replaced Pixel 9 Camera Glass Easily
The instructions are for many phone models but it's easy enough to apply to your model. Heated the phone camera area with a hair dryer for about 30 seconds. Used the included tweezers to peal off the broken. This was the most difficult part because my glass was shattered. The black glue was gooey but pulled away with a little effort. After all the glass was out I used the included knife to scrape away the remaining glue. There was not much. I then used a compressed air can (not included) to blow away debris and finally used the included dust sticker to pat around the camera area. It's unclear which side of the glass is the top. For the Pixel 9 you just have to pay attention to where the holes line up and it's easy to figure out. Pealed off the back plastic layer and placed it into the camera well and it fit perfectly. Pealed off the front plastic and then heated it with the hair dryer again about 30 seconds while applying very light pressure. Let it cool a minute, booted up, and the camera works like new.

Replacement for a Pixel 9 Pro
Writing this review minutes after i finished installing the replacement on my google pixel 9 pro, 06/02/25 The only issue i have with the 1st and current glass replacement on my phone is the fact that out the box and off the sticker protectors there were slight blemishes (check out pictures attached to this review) on the downward facing side of the replacement glass. Unfortunately i dont feel like i can dock a star off for this because i should have checked my self and cleaned it before dropping it onto its frame. There are openings on the adhesive cover that would allow you to do so with the included microfiber towelette. The convenience of having the adhesive preattached to the replacement glass comes at the risk of little dust and fiber particles having a chance to attach themselves to the exposed areas of the glass during its transition from the factory floor, to the adhesive attachment, up until its finally sealed for selling and shipping. If I'm dead set on correcting this, which at the moment im not, given that theres no noticeable impact to the camera's performance, the inclusion of a second glass piece in this kit gives me the option to do so at my discretion. One of the things that concerned me enough to cancel my first order of this kit were the reviews talking about how the replacement glass handled light sources and how it impacted focusing once it was installed. See the pictures included and try to guess which one came from the pixel 9 pro with the replacement glass cover and which one came from a pixel 6 with the factory installed glass cover. The slight difference can be attributed to the extra camera the newer model has most likely. In terms of focusing, after trying to focus on multiple things (within reason) in my room, i could not see any failure on my phones part to focus on the subject i tapped on. Whether there is a difference in quality for older models, as the reviews that detailed these issues were for the pixel 7, 8, etc, or they popped up because of extra scrutiny bias towards the replacement due to its price tag, or the other reviewers damaged more than just the glass cover, i cant say. Since i dont have a oe factory pixel 9 pro to compare pictures with, just a oe factory pixel 6 I have to go off that and base my opinions off that. Again see the pictures included to form an opinion on the results of this replacement. A factory replacement would cost 92.99 (before taxes and S&H) plus 9.99 (before taxes and S&H) for the pre-cut adhesive and this option would have you removing the whole back panel off your phone and replacing it with a new one. Which a certain fix it website has a detailed walkthrough on. Whether you choose THIS option or the factory replacement depends on how deep your pockets are and how much time you're willing to spend or pay for this fix. For now, for me, this was a quick and easy, budget friendly fix to keep my phone's cameras safe from shards of glass and exposure to the elements while i save for the factory replacement if i choose to pursue that route in the future. I will set a reminder to update this review 6 months from now or if issues arise in the future.

10 Stars it is Everything you need, super easy install, and a perfect fit!!
This has to be the value but of the century. Everything is included and installation was very easy. Read the instructions, watch one YouTube video then get to work and work patiently. Very straightforward and it looks and works fantastic. Just be careful to remove the old glass carefully, clean any dust, and hold the new glass by the edges when setting it into place. The glass has a little bit of glare compared to the original, probably a cheaper antireflective coating but honestly for this price point and performance I could not be happier. Google left us high and dry with the phone design so until there is a class action to force them to fix it, this is by far the best and most economical solution. All in was about 15 minutes to cautiously repair.
