Review: Best reader I have used - When I started using the R5C and CF Express cards I searched for a good reader that could do SD and CFExpress. I bought the model from ProGrade. Had good reviews and from a good company. My Windows 10/11 machine would show errors and say it was not installed properly. I always had to eject the whole reader and not just the card in the OS. It always worked but made me nervous about what was going on. ProGrade was helpful and RMA'd the reader and gave me a new one. Same problem. Must be some conflict with my specific hardware/drivers. I needed a second reader and decided to go with this Lexar model. I think it is superior, nice weight and build quality, sit solidly on the desk. All the errors and issues with the other reader did not happen with the Lexar. I don't like the LED light that stays on when not in use, but other than that it has fast speeds and no issues.
