Auto Start Stop Eliminator/Delete/Disable Device for Chevrolet Equinox/Malibu/Cruze (2019-2023) and for Cadillac XT4/XT5/XT6 (2019-2022) & Buick Enclave/Encore (2019-2023)

This “auto stop” wiring harness to bypass the auto-stop from occurring was an excellent and economically affordable installation. I highly recommend it. The auto-stop has never occurred and no computer faults have occurred since the installation. I couldn’t actually find any helpful videos or pictures to show the installation of this so I have taken a few of my installation. I hope it’s helpful to others.

This "dongle" works. Inexpensive. Now the engine does not shut off and restart. There is no disable switch on our Equinox for this unwanted feature. We have done our share of saving the planet from unwanted emissions, the gas savings evaporated when a restart caused a rear end as it moved the car in close quarters at a destruction orange barrel zone. No good deed goes un-punished. Our insurance carrier did not ask, they just piled on the punishment cost. My car was not damaged at all. Nice story to tell.

Worked great to the irritating STOP and START of engine every time I pull up to a stop sign. The manufacturer made cars do that to save a little GAS. So they can put a better MPG number on your new car window sticker. BUT THE REALITY of the economics do not make sense when you realize the constant starting is going to wear out the starter. Starters used to cost about 50 bucks. Not any more. I had one replaced on another car and it costs MANY HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS... like TWELVE HUNDRED. You can buy a LOT OF GAS for twelve hundred dollars. So... this device is WONDERFUL.

Finally had opportunity to install this device this weekend on my 2019 Buick Enclave.. It installed easily and appeared to be working properly. I took it for about a 5 mile drive thought town and on the highway and it appeared to be working perfectly. - engine never quit running during stops. Two days later my wife calls me on her way to a meeting and reports the check engine light is on, it has reduced the power, and instructs her to shut the engine off immediately. A series of additional message began flashing across the screen to fast for her to repeat them. I responded to her location and witnessed the same messages during three different startups. Finally removed the device and had to disconnect the battery to get the system to reset eventually reeset to drive the car home, which finctions properly. I would not recommend this for a 2019 Enclave!!!

I installed this on my 2021 Buick Enclave, which has no "bypass" button for the auto stop feature, which I despise. Installation was incredibly simple and it worked perfectly. The value of eliminating the product was well worth getting rid of auto stop feature.

It's been working great! Cheap price and if you are tired of stop start this is for you!

Installed on my 2020 Chevy Equinox LT with 1.5L Turbo. Easy to install as it will only go in one way. Works great but DOES create B3006 Error codes shown by an engine scan. No check engine lights occur. I'm happy with the fact that the Auto Start Stop has been disabled, but now I have to go out and continually clear codes.

Took less than a minute to install once I researched how to disconnect the GMC connector. Works great. I read some were not able to use their remote start after installation but my remote start sill works.

It really works. My husband installed it and it stopped that annoying start/stop. Was told I had to take it to a dealer and pay big money. This is worth it
