This is a really great buy. The only thing I wish it had was some sort of iPad clamp but it isn’t advertised as such. At the one I was still just using paper charts and check lists and it works brilliantly for that. The rings pair nicely with some plastic sleeves which you can put anything you might need into including regional or unpublished strip charts. The clipboard stays in when in use and is per study writing platform, however it does tend to slip out of the cloth when you don’t have it strapped to your leg. Not too bad a problem but can be annoying when hopping in the cockpit. Overall you really just can’t complain too much because it works really great and is a bargain.

Clip board has no slot in the fabric, other than that it works as it should.

Everything looked great then a few days later, I went to put pens in it and the stitching came loose instantly. It's still able to hold pens but make sure to check everything before throwing away the original packaging! I'm keeping it since last time I returned an item (unrelated to this item), the item was lost in transit and I was charged again for it. Overall the quality is great and I can't wait to use it for flights!!

The photos are misleading in that they show an ASA clipboard (probably aluminum) with printed VFR information. Instead it is a cheap black plastic sheet with a clip riveted to it. The black plastic is not rigid so the clipboard bends easily in all directions. Rings are thin and open very stiff. The canvas seems to be sewn adequately and the pocket to hold the cell phone seems like it will work fine. Overall a very cheaply made product, but probably OK for the low cost. If they replaced the clipboard with what is shown, I would probably adjust the review.

Bought this brand kneeboard when starting as a student pilot. Always loved my kneeboard and used it every flight. A few years and licenses later I am a CFI and have really worn down the kneeboard after a few hundred hours teaching. Since I loved this kneeboard so much I came right back here to buy the exact same one. Package came in today, and the quality of these kneeboards has gone down the toilet. The previous pocket for the clipboard (which is still shown in the product pictures) is sewn shut, so there is not a way to keep the clipboard in place while actively taking notes on it. To me, this is the most important part of the kneeboard. Additionally the material is a lot thinner, the clipboard itself is bowed instead of flat, the sheet rings are a lot skinnier and flimsier. Overall seems like the manufacturer decided to save a few bucks and ruined the quality of these kneeboards. Really disappointing.

Works good for my usage getting my private pilots small cockpit no room to sit anything ideal for clipping charts and taking notes

Just don't like the Velcro staps

La piernera viene exactamente como en la foto, es cómoda y algo chica pero a mí gusto está perfecto. El único detalle que tendría es que no viene los anillos como en las fotos y fue algo que me decepcionó :((
