Bought this as an alternative to the official (and rare) Wireless adapters for the Roland INTEGRA-7 as it has the same chipset. It's needed if you want to free up the rear USB socket and use the iPad app wirelessly instead. It works! You'll need to use a USB extension cable as it's too big to fit in the socket directly (and it was a bit picky as to which extension cable worked), but other than that it worked right out of the box an about 10% of the cost of the originals that can only be found on the second hand market and for a premium.
