This trash can is ingenious. It works as advertised, it’s small, ergonomic, looks good and is amazing. Opens by a sensor and closes automatically. It loads a new bag by sucking it in, like a vacuum. To dispose of trash, the trash can automatically closes and seals the bag. Just pull it out. Easy to use.

I’ve been using the Airdeer trash can for a while now and it has honestly exceeded my expectations. The motion-sensor lid is very responsive, opening quickly and closing gently, which makes it feel super convenient and hands-free.​ My favorite feature is the self-sealing and self-replacing bag system: with one button, the can seals the full bag for clean removal and then automatically prepares the next one, so I never have to touch messy trash bags. The built-in rechargeable battery lasts a long time between charges, and the included trash bag rings are easy to swap when they’re used up. It’s compact but holds more than it looks, and the odor control is surprisingly good for food scraps and everyday kitchen trash. The sleek, modern design fits nicely in small spaces like kitchens or bathrooms and looks more like a smart appliance than a regular trash can. Overall, this is a great product if you want a cleaner, more hygienic, and low-maintenance trash solution—I’d definitely buy it again.

Airdeer trash can is a very good trash can. It seals the trash bag really well, we use it as baby diaper trash can and it works really well. We used to have another brand TOWNEW self sealing trash can; however, the bag isn’t always sealed properly and the battery always die within six months. We tried TOWNEW twice within a year then we decided to change it to Airdeer. It was the best decision we made. We have used it for more than 2 years and never had issues with bag sealing the battery life is great too and it charges really well. Definitely recommend it for baby diaper trash can. The trash can also close it really well so the poopy smell doesn’t leak out when the trash can is closed. Very good product.

Trash can is great! Good capacity and the self sealing feature is amazing! I used to dread emptying my bathroom trash, but now it’s a breeze. Easy to set up and use.

Easy to use holds a ton of trash for its size clean convenient no odor I put one in every room in the house.

I bought this back in December and been using it since then. I love it but I do have some issues with it. It often stays on open lid mode and I have a hard time taking it off of it, there’s time that the trash starts opening and closing automatically out of nowhere and I have to turn it off and back on for it to stop. The laser that seals the trash works fine. I’ve never had an issue refilling it. I love it so much I hope they work on the issues that it has because it’s worth investigating in a trash bin like this one. It looks small but a lot fits in it. I think it’s good to have it in the office, room, bathroom but it might not be big enough for a busy kitchen.

I didn’t buy this for kitchen scraps; I bought it because I have three teenage daughters. If you’ve ever opened a bathroom trash can and been hit with the unmistakable aroma of what can only be described as a crime scene wrapped in floral-scented plastic, this thing is worth every penny. The automatic compaction is great, but the real MVP is the heat-sealing feature. Instead of marinating in the bouquet of used tampons until trash day, the bag gets sealed up and the smell is trapped in a tiny plastic prison. My nose has filed for early retirement, the kids bathroom no longer smells like a biohazard, and I no longer have to play Russian roulette every time I open their trash can. 10/10

Purchased it in July 2025 and as of October 2025 it doesn’t work properly anymore. Without any prompting it just says “open lid mode” opens the lid itself and stays open. When I manually close it, it again says “open lid mode” but the lid stays closed and the sensor doesn’t work because it thinks it’s in open lid mode. After cleaning it, I tried turning it off for several hours but when I turned it back on and went into another room, it decided to just keep opening and closing on its own. Turned it off for several days and turned it back on and it started the whole “open lid mode” issue again. I’ve had it off for a week now and I just turned it back on and so far it seems fine but we will see within the next few hours. Also, now it no longer packs the trash. It says it’s overflowing and that I need to manually pack it. So I do and it says it again. Then it seals the bag but doesn’t cut it and tells me to take it out… how can I take it out if it’s still attached to the other bags? So I tried removing the bag manually by cutting at the sealed part and hoping that would reset it. Nope same thing again. It was a great trash can when it was working properly but it shouldn’t be malfunctioning like this after only a few months.

Really Like this product. Had it now for a couple months and so far no issues. Would recommend.

I had a previous bin similar but didn't talk,it got broken by my dog,anyway replaced with this one and i love how it talks you through the whole process lol,it always says over filled,choose to compact manually or tap again within 5 seconds to continue,i just give it a second tap and it compacts it harder to make it fit,and you really don't have to do anything except press the button listen to her talk and take the bag out when she tells you,and she will tell you when she's layed the new liner,happy days.
