Neo G Closed Knee Support

I love this knee brace. I've worn a brace for many years, many many different styles. This one is the absolute best. I've reordered probably 7 or 8 times over the years. The velcro eventually, after a year or so, looses its hooking ability and I order a new one. I wear it with shorts, under dress pants, with anything. It's pretty slim, so it doesn't show a lot of bulk, but it's very strong and just the right amount of soft comfortable support. It's adjustable, so it will work for a wide range of knee sizes. I highly recommend.

I am amazed at the way this knee support has helped not just my knee, but it has gotten me moving. I have worn it for three days and the pain in my knee and back has been reduced enough that I can get myself out of the chair with ease and have even gone out and done some yard work. I have a drawer full of braces and sleeves and really didn't have much hope for this one either. I couldn't believe how much better I felt just after the first day. It is easy to put on and take off and is so comfortable.that I put it on and forget it. No rough edges, binding and scratchy edges. I am ordering another for my right knee, which is not as painful, but maybe I can ward off the deterioration that I have had with the left. I love it. I would recommend this knee brace to anyone. I am an 86 year old teacher, still teaching Art part time and looking forward to many more years with students who love art. Thank you for making such a fine product that will keep this old gal moving.

PROS: After trying numerous braces over the past 1 1/2 years, this is just about my favorite. I had surgery to repair a torn meniscus & also have a tear in the other knee. This is the first support I've used that has actually had the unexpected result of bringing down swelling & pain. I don't know why....I had tried other neoprene supports before w/o this kind of success. Not sure what makes this one so special but I can't argue with the results & my knees actually feel pretty good since using these. (I wear one for each knee.) They are also comfortable & don't slip with the proper adjustment. They don't inhibit movement like some others I've tried yet offer good support. CON: The only reason why I gave these 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the Velcro. At first I liked it as it is thin & not bulky under clothes. But after only 2 months of use, it does not lay flat anymore & curls back at the edges. Each piece of Velcro does this & it is not like those pieces have much lint, etc., stuck on them. Very annoying! I am going to have to replace all 6 pieces of Velcro. If it wasn't for that, these would be really great! Added note: Three days after submitting my review, the Velcro is no longer sticking to the neoprene. The Velcro has curled back more & pops open every time I move. I wouldn't mind ordering another set of these supports but not until the manufacturer fixes the Velcro problem.

I've had 4 back operations including a fusion and a replacement fusion (which failed.) I didn't have a fusion the first time, and managed to get back into shape, but after the failed fusions it's been very tough. Consequently I went from a size 7 and working out daily to therapy and plus sizes - I ended up with bad knees. I originally got a 'sports protector' (from Kmart) with velcro ca. 1997 which had the closed knee and worked very well when my knee went out and actually lasted until 2016 (velcro gave out.) I originally ordered a highly recommended open knee brace which I found horridly uncomfortable and didn't hold the kneecap in place. I then ordered this one, and THANK HEAVENS!! Worked like a charm, held the kneecap in the right place, comfortable to wear and although I'm not strong enough yet to work out again, it's made walking possible and the weight is beginning to drop off. BTW, it's black, not blue.

BUYER BEWARE! On occasion my knee feels a bit weak so I slip on my old compression sleeve. However, it's not very comfortable and slides down my leg, so I decided it was time for something new. My knee felt normal when I received this product, but I put it on anyway to test it out. I went out for 3 hours and came home with incredible knee pain. Actual sharp pain, not the minor discomfort that happens a few times a year. It has been exactly a week since and my knee is still messed up! To make matters worse, they don't accept returns. Probably because they would go out of business. Unbelievable.

I liked this brace. It lightly stabilized and had good, moderate compression, which is what I needed after a knee strain. Worked well for light to moderate hikes and just being on my feet for hours at a time at work. Unfortunately, I quickly developed an allergy to it. Not sure if it was from the dyes or the material as I've never had an allergic reaction before! At first, the reaction was mild, but now I can't wear it for even an hour without terrible contact dermatitis and extreme inflammation/itchiness. I'll have to get tested to find out what I'm allergic to before I invest in another brace. For now I can only wear this over pants, which is not nearly as good!

Love this knee brace as it hugs and supports my weak leg allowing me to walk farther than I otherwise would be able to. It's fairly flexible, but I sometimes loosen the top Velcro if I sit with the brace attached. The brace does heat up the the leg, but that serves to relax the muscles. It is easy to wear and wrap around your knee. If there is a downside, it would be that the area of the brace the Velcro attaches to wears out eventually, but that's they way any Velcro attachment works. This is a great brace and it doesn't aggravate my kneecap.

My husband has osteoarthritis and has constant pain. Several months ago he tore his meniscus and had surgery. It didn't heal as well as hoped for and more than one doctor told him he would need a knee replacement. He tried every type of knee brace and support he could find in hopes of putting it off. Some worked awhile, some not at all, but none for any amount of time. I saw this knee support Neo G Medical Grade VCS Closed Knee Support after searching and reading reviews and was skeptical as we had not had luck so far. It was called "medical grade" so I figured I would get one more for our ever growing pile of knee braces and supports. First, it came much faster than I expected. Secondly, my husband said it was the most comfortable one he had tried. Thirdly... IT WORKS!! He wore it every day for a few weeks and was amazed at the difference! He found himself walking up steps without pain and enjoys golfs again! (he golfs at least 3 times a week, and no, it did not help his game, but it never claimed it would). Some days he doesn't wear it now, but at the first hint of pain puts it back on and says he feels he will not need the knee surgery any time soon now. The way it can be adjusted is important because some days you just need a bit more support than others and if it is not made correctly it will not be comfortable no matter what you do. His knee seldom swells up now and before he had to get fluid drained from the painful swelling. Was I paid to say these things? No. Am I trying to be nice for a friend or anything? No. I am simply a loving wife that is excited to see my husband of 33 years feeling better! I highly recommend it! It amazes me to see the difference this knee support has made in his life!

The knee bandage was exactly what I needed. I would certainly recommend it. It is a pity that it took some fifteen days to arrive - Product Company in the U.K., actually made in Turkey and finally posted from N. Jersey USA.

They work for me , I have a lot of pain around my knees and recovering from an injury . It holds it all together stops my pain from becoming worse. Comfortable for bed time or any time of the day . My job is very physical and for me it works . I’ve not had any wear or tear of fabric I’ve worn these for the past month . It is worth the money I payed for it

I typically run 5K three times a week on a treadmill with variable incline, as part of a broader workout routine. About two weeks ago, I developed a mild ache in my left knee—not enough to stop me running, but enough to raise concern. I wanted to address it early before it worsened. When choosing a knee support, it's important to strike a balance between two opposing properties: support and flexibility - the Neo-G does this well as my running pace is not restricted. Fitting is straightforward, following the instructions for a supportive but flexible fit. Following 2 weeks of running as usual with the support, the discomfort has virtually disappeared, but I will continue with the support for a while. One small bonus: I specifically chose this model because of the closed kneecap design—I run in shorts, and the open-kneecap look just isn’t for me. That’s purely a personal aesthetic choice! Would I recommend it? Yes—but with the caveat that it’s best suited for mild to moderate issues. If you're dealing with anything more serious, it’s wise to seek professional advice.
