Marvel's Agent Carter - Season 2

Peggy Carter and the SSR have moved from New York to Los Angeles and are soon up against mad actress Whitney Frost. The sadly short lived Marvel TV series moves to Hollywood. Set in 1947 season 2 picks up where season 1 left off with Carter investigating bizarre nuclear atomic age incidents leading the SSR to actress Whitney Frost. The cast lead once again by Hayley Atwell are all excellent and season 2 is an improvement on season 1 as the series continues to explore the early days of the Marvel Cinematic Universe after World War 2. It all ends rather frustratingly in a cliffhanger that will never be resolved, a somewhat annoyingly common thing now in American TV shows.

Usual good production values. Top acting. Even sillier plot than season one. Huge fun !!😀

I'm not usually a fan of many things set in this era. And there are a few things about this that make me wince, like the blatant sexism she has to deal with all the time. But if you are at all into Marvel, then these are a must. And i've watched them a few times now (season 1 and this one), and i have thoroughly enjoyed them every time.

Quite watchable

Glad to even get this on dvd, as it is only available on blu-ray over here in the U.S. Not everybody over here has or wants blu-ray. I have an all region dvd player and recently bought a region 4 dvd of Ice Road Truckers season 10, which didn't come out over here at all. If this trend continues in the U.S. I will be getting more TV seasons that aren't region 1 but that I can still watch. Supposedly blu-ray is going away in a few years (thanks 4K; anyone remember HD, blu-ray's competition for awhile). I had to get a region 2 of the first season of Netflix's Daredevil, even though I have a region 1 of season 2 (same problem). Hopefully the rest of the regions will keep putting out TV seasons of the shows I want, even if region 1 does not.

Excellent product and service Marvel’s most stylish tv series, Hayley Atwell is fantastic as Agent Peggy Carter, ex-girlfriend of Captain America, now fighting the forces of evil as the beginnings of SHIELD are formed around her. With Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark, Tony’s father, this is an excellent series, well written with lots of tonge-in-cheek humour. Highly recommend

I have bought seasons one and two, Hayley Atwell is simply fantastic as Carter, these are set in a super time of style and dress fully complemented by the film sets. If you want to spend time in front of a screen then this is the way, the diabolical problem is Agent Carter was discontinued and I can not understand why???? First disc great but second disc does not play, have asked for a refund and ordered a replacement, tried it again now it works but not well, disc seems in perfect condition.

A different take on the Marvel super heroes but well worth it. Really enjoyed the unusual take on it and Agent Carter taking on a man's world. A couple of sloppy buts but in the whole series, an enjoyable box set.

Entertaining and great series.

Love the show. Too bad this is the last season. It should have kept going. There are not enough "super hero" shows who feature strong women as the lead character. I received this very soon after I ordered it and started to binge watch it.
