Hepper Waterless No Rinse Dry Shampoo for Dogs & Cats - 8oz

In short, I have a maine coon who was weaned too early and is lacking several skills. This list unfortunately includes "how not to pee all over yourself and get litter embedded in your long dense fur." He also hasn't quite figured out how to clean himself up, or that he needs to. Clay litter immediately becomes concrete. Corn litter is better. He hates pine because it doesn't break down quickly enough. For health monitoring reasons, walnut/dark litter wasn't on the table. He's a kitten, so I'm hoping that as he ages and gains some coordination, things will improve, but in the meantime, he leaves the litter box with litter deep in his fur every single time. Obviously, a full bath multiple times a day isn't a realistic option, and I've yet to encounter wipes that can tackle this mess quickly enough to avoid traumatizing us both any further than we've become. He gets a weekly ish sanitary shave to keep his paws, ankles, legs, and all affected areas down to 1-2mm of fur, which helps make clean up go faster, but does not help us avoid the possibility of urine scald. Enter the best foam shampoo I've ever tried. All I have to do is grab him before he can escape, squirt a pump of foam, and as I rub it in, the litter comes free. If it's dried to his fur because I was asleep or out of the house, letting it sit for a few seconds makes it fall right out. If he gets into the clay litter and it becomes concrete, letting it soak for about 30 seconds is all it takes before it combs right out of his long double coat. This is the only thing saving my sanity and helping us both avoid becoming traumatized by how often I have to clean him up between this and other health issues he's had. The fact I can use this and comb out litter that embedded itself next to his skin in under a minute, regardless of length, is a freaking miracle. Nothing else has been as effective, time saving, or easy. Without this, he would no doubt hate me. Without this, we surely would have gotten scald at least once and been in an even worse place. Before I tried this, he was on the verge of developing litter box avoidance. It smells good, it doesn't leave him greasy, it tackles some seriously tough situations. I can't recommend this enough.

This dry cat shampoo is absolutely delightfully perfect!! Exceeded my expectations, as I don't typically write the review Thang but I just had to say a piece on this product due to my love 4 my new cat smell:•》I've tried many other brands & have searched & searched & searched 4d perfect one & this is it! He's SOOOOOOO beautiful, soft, & smells like roses. The 1 other thing that's different than the other dry shampoos I've tried is that I don't have to use a towel, which my cat hates, but you use a brush 2 brush their fur out to fluff it after you put the fluff on them. I believe that sums it up. 5☆☆☆☆☆YES, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I purchased this cat shampoo for my elderly cat. She is not longer able to clean herself effectively but baths stress her out. I tried this and it wasn’t the worst but not the best. It smelled great but kind of left a residue on her fur. She was already a tad greasy and I don’t think this shampoo helped much for that. But she did not have any skin irritation from the product if that’s something you’re worried about!

My 15 yo cat did not mind the application of the foam. Her hair is silky and shiny and the dander is almost gone after one use.

This stuff smells so good and it got dead squirrel stink off of my dog's!! I would definitely recommend it!! 🤗 Oh my goodness!! My dog rolled on a dead skunk!! 😲 This stuff is so amazing!! It not only made him look and smell better it also got that horrible stink off of my hands!!! Best stuff EVER!!!

My male Maltese keeps peeing on long haired hindlegs. I got this waterless shampoo for in between baths. Well, it was useless! His hindleggs looked much worse after using this shampoo ,now they are yellow, sticky and the hair is sticking together, no matter how much we try to brush it out. It didn't even remove the smell. We had to bath him to remove all that sticky mess. 2 stars for arriving on time and not spilling any product. EDIT:The sellers messaged me and gave us a refund. I would absolutely buy from them again!

My cat hates baths so this came in clutch . His fur is super clean and fluffy once fully dried! And it smells really good

This is the best. Smell so nice and lasts. My cats fur is so fluffy. Will not use anything else.

Had really high hopes for this product after seeing so many great reviews. Recently rescued a cat who was a little dirty so I used this on him. He absolutely hated it. It also dried with a sticky residue, so now my cat is extra filthy. I will have to use water on him to hopefully get the residue out, which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place. Complete waste of money.
